Barty landed, arms still delicately holding his two rookies carefully. His mismatched eyes danced over the landscape, watching the tamers and their digimon with quiet interest. So interested with watching the others that he didn't notice his digimon had gotten down and were now grinning widely.
"This stuff is very familar,"Nymph said, picking one of the plants delicately and holding it up to Barty,"You'd like it... You put it in your food."
Barty looked down at her sharply before eying the plant. Crouching down and folding himself similar to a lawn chair, he took the flowering plant and sniffed at. It smelled nice enough and the tamer had already guessed what it did. "It's a dopamine inhibiter, hm?"
A blank look came to the impmon's face but Galen stepped in, dopey grin in place. "Dopamine is a chemical that enduces happiness and makes one feel as though their in love or like their flying,"he explained,"Humans have it and it is often activated by various foods or... well... drugs. Anti-depressants, chocolate, and the puff plant are included."
Barty smirked and he plopped a hand on Galen's head. "You're smart in areas most people wouldn't think important, my green scaley friend,"he said with a grin. A proud beam was recieved from the Kamemon.

Lydia nodded in agreement of his statment. It was always wise to know what something could do to a person. "You are right, the puff plant is extremely addictive. The plant normally goes through a mad season. Anything picked during this season and digested will cause insantiy in who ever picks it." She said, pausing only a moment.
"A few years ago there was a beast spirit belonging to the tamer of faith. It caused a tamer named Torage's partner to corrupt digivolve to her perfect level. You see a loss beast spirit tends to create or magnify destruction around it. It took a while but once the beast spirit was scanned and removed everything went back to normal. Especially after Torage's partner was returned to her child form." She explained, a little background information never hurt.
"Torage was once the "leader" of the rouges. He has an orginal digivice like me, meaning he has been a digidestined for a very long time, and is one of the most experianced digidestined out there. In other words, don't mess with him, you'll get you butt kicked. He has since retired from his post, and has been working as a solo agent, no clue where he is now, though he does stay in touch." She finished.
Finally they arrived in the village. It was comprised of different types of child and adult level digimon, however beast types were far more common in the population. Lydia walked up to a wondering Gabumon, "Hi, I'm Lydia this is Frio, Barty, Nyphmodora, and Galen. We're here about the digimon threat to the harvest." She said simply.
The Gabumon smiled, "Ah yes, just head down to the boarding house, everything is ready for you and there is an evolope with all the information we have, sorry we can't talk in person, it is a busy time of year." The Gabumon said before rushing off. Lydia smiled and waved the others to follow.
OOC: Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to get rid of most of the technicalities.

"That one is a Gabumon, a beast type digimon." Lydia answered with out really thinking about it. "There are a few main types of digimon, Beast, Holy, Dark, plant/insect, water, and dragon. It is pretty easy to tell which digimon belongs to which species." She said simply as they reached their room.
They had two seperate rooms with with an open doorway in between. The door way was covered with a simple brown curtain. Lydia gave it an apraising look and imagined moving her dresser in front of it. Barty did not seem like the type to be a peeping tom, but she felt she couldn't be too careful. The rooms themselves contained a single bed each, one dresser, a large window, and personal restrooms.
"These are our rooms, go ahead and get comfortable. We'll be here to rest up, before going to the outskirts of the field. Put your stuff down, get a few hours of sleep and meet me down stairs, then we'll go over the details of this assignment." Lydia said, she did not know about Barty, but she hadn't slept in the last 48 hours while she tried to track him down.
OOC: If you want to, you can execute the time skip in your next post, nothing all that interesting is going to happen with Lydia until tomarrow.

((Ey Ey Captain. x3))
Barty looked at her before quietly entering his room. It was simple and made him think about his apartment, quietly making him note that he and his digimon would have to share a bed here too. He dropped his bag by the door and moved over to the matress. Lowering himelf to it, he stared at the far wall, mind going over everything that had happened today.
So far a strange girl and picked him up and explained that the little monsters that had been following him around were his "digimon" and that this secret organization wanted to take them away from him. Then she proceded to cart him off to this magical land call the digiworld just so they could take care of some monster digimon that hates humans.
A wry smirk curled his features.
Yeah... That was a pretty average day for him.
Laying back tiredly he slowly curled up on the bed, joined seconds later by Nymph and Galen against his chest. He carefully wrapped his arms around the two before drifting off into slumber.
Hours swung by like the pendulum over the inevitable pit and Barty awoke to the digital sun setting in the warm sky. He blinked his eyes once in a vain attempt at clearing sleep from them. The drowsy optics drifted down, his blue eye's sight blurred, and fell upon the slumbering forms of Nymph and Galen. A smile stretched his face and he sat up, stretching long and hard and listening to the vague pops of his back.
His hand skimmed lightly over his front and he soon found his monocle, putting it safely in place. Instantly his hazy vision cleared and he examined the area quickly. Instantly, he decided he'd woken up too soon.
Unfortuantly he didn't feel very tired and lazily he laid back on the bed, tucking his hands under his head as he did so. His eyes watched the ceiling and his mind wondered, plotting and planning various future hiests.
That grew boring though and his mind drifted once more, farther back, to the cute girl he'd seen at a bar earlier in the week. Unfortuantly she'd been with a cute guy too and that brought a frown to Bolivar's face.

Lydia had just enough energy to peel off her clothes, climb into the shower, pull back on some pajamas and crawl back to the bed. Frio had to cover her up since she was asleep as soon as she climbed in. Frio grinned and set the alarm next to him. Even though she would need a good deal of sleep she could not afford to sleep an entire day like she tended to do.
He eyed the envolpe, but decided that it could wait he was just as exhausted as his partner. His eyes closed in sweet sleep. He woke up to the buzzing of the clock next to his ear. The sound was so annoying that he jumped up, slammed it off and sighed. Beside him Lydia was pulling on a pair of jeans and shirt.
"Finally up sleepy head?" She joked. Frio gave her an odd look, she wasn't supposed to be up yet.
"Why are you up?" He blurted out still shaking off his sleep induced stupor. Lydia grinned a little devilishly.
"I got up the first time the alarm rang, you were still asleep so I set it for another hour." She said simply, her eyes laughed and for a moment she forgot about why they were here, then her eyes fell on the brown envelope. Grapping it she started to head down, before turning to Frio, "Go check on Barty, I'll meet you downstairs." She said, before heading outside.

Frio went to the curtain after Lydia left. He heard a loud thump followed by voices. It seemed everyone was getting up now, goody goody. Frio could not help but feel bitter towards this one tamer, his digimon were fine, but the tamer put him on edge.
He knocked on the doorway to the next room before saying loudly, "We'll be outside, make sure to grab all your things. We will not be coming back here." He warned before leaving himself. Frankly, he just wished the tamer would have wanted someone else to teach him, but even an irratated Lydia could not refuse his request for training. What a pain!
Lydia was relaxing outside on a picnic table, with a breakfast sandwich in front of her. She grinned as Frio joined her at the table. The contents of the evolope were spread out in front of her. It seemed that they were dealing with a small band of insect digimon, at least three at adult level and two others at child level. She was grudgingly thankful that Barty had tagged along. It seemed he would be useful if he managed to use his digivice right, and for this assignment he would need to.

Lydia looked up from the papers when Barty arrived. She wanted to smile at the two new child level digimon, any digimon of that level usually brought a grin to her face, but she attempted to hide it, and not start off with a fight this morning. So instead she decided to talk.
"Well, we are going to try deplomacy first, but yeah if that doesn't work we're going to kick their butts. We are dealing with a Dongukumon, a giant talking spider, Kwuagamon, a giant roaring beatle, a Snimon, a giant talking praying mantis, and a few unknown child level bug digimn wth them. Normally these guys can not be barginned with so we had better get their as quickly as possible." She said simply. She looked over at Frio, his eyes were still hard but he nodded, at her unspoken request.
"Frio can carry us there if you would like. It will take far less time so we can get camp set up." She offered, but did not wait for her answer as Frio floated where space was, and became a glowing light. His form let loose one bright flash before he appeared as Garurumon X. He looked at Barty with a feral grin.

Barty looked at him and a quick twinkle entered and then escaped his blue eye. "Interesting... I can't remember if you explained this or not,"he said. Nymph looked up from her almost gone sandwhich before popping the last corner peice into her mouth. Chewing it up she swallowed and looked a Frio.
"He digivolved,"she explained, smiling,"It's the equivilant of growing up for digimon."
Barty eyed her quietly. "Will you two do it as well?"he murmured. He bent down and scooped the pair up, moving towards Frio.
"Eventually,"Galen said, flushing a bit,"Nymph already can... She has before."
"Really?"
Barty looked to the impmon and she gave a nod. Her cheeks flushed out of slight embarassment but mostly out of pride. She had, once, digivolved before she met Barty. It was during a battle with DATs when they first arrived and for a short moment she was in her champion form.
It was short because mid evolution one of the DATs member's digimon slammed into her, sending her richocheting back to rookie level. The memory made her moody and she gave a soft sigh, as Barty placed her on Frio's back.
Barty caught this and smiled. "You know, it has a chance of happening again,"He said,"If i can figure out this Digivice thing I bet I can help both of you digivolve to you bigger forms."

Lydia stood up and walked over to Frio. Rubbing him on the neck she turned over towards Barty, "Your digivice is activated by your own spirit. How can I explain it, your spirit, your energy, no," she struggled to find a word that seemed to fit Barty's personality. "Your drive," she settled, "can be channeled into your hand and then into your digivice by placing it on top." She hummed as she thought back on her own experiances with the new digivices.
"It normally takes the form of a colored bunch of data squares. When charged, your digivice will focus it towards you digimon and allows them to digivolve." She looked out over the fields, mentally gauging how long it would take to get their.
"It usually takes a dangerous experiance for you to get your digimon to digivolve. Hop on, the sooner we get there the sooner you can put your life in danger." Lydia finished cheerfully, almost like the idea of Barty in danger made her happy, not that it did, well maybe just a little.
