The Kuchiose Game, Based partially on Tales of Symphonia

Every few years, there is born a few children with an amazing gift. They are able to form contracts called pacts with beasts who have been alive since the beginning of the world. Once a contract is formed, and the pact-maker makes a vow, they are able to summon these beasts to fight for them. If the pact-maker does not follow through witht heir vow, the pact is revoked, and the beast goes back to its temple dwelling, awaiting a new pact maker.

Fortunately for Matsuzono Corp., they have founded a neat little game called "Kuchiose Game", in which people born with the gift battle each other with their summon beasts.

But to get a summon beast, those born with the ability to do so must travel to the temple where the beast makes its home. There are multiple types, and each has a different form, name, and personality. The types are:

Fire - Common, found in volcano and desert temples, Water puts out Fire

Wind - Common, found in temples located on floating sky platforms, No weakness

Water - Common, found in ocean or lake temples, Lightning shocks Water

Ice - Common, found in frigid, snowy temples up north, Fire melts Ice

Earth - Common, found in high mountain temples, Wind scatters Earth

Lightning - Partially rare, found at the tops of ancient ruins, No weakness

Light - Rare, very few, found in light temples scattered around the world, Shadow swallows Light

Shadow - Rare, very few, found in dark temples scattered around the world, Light parts Shadow

Angel (Must speak incantations before using their powers.) - Unique; Only one in the entire world, location unknown, No weakness

Summoners can also use their beasts for helpful purposes. An example; A water spirit used to put out a large forest fire, or an ice spirit used to freeze a tidal wave.

Summon spirits must bond with their summoner to learn and grow. If a bond is weak, the spirit is less likely to attempt to do the summoner's bidding. If the bond is strong, the spirit will do just about anything for his or her summoner.
