Vulvarch was.... Vulvarch. She wasn't sure how else to describe this chaotic and oftentimes frustrating planet. Nothing was organized how it should be, not even the streets. It was like they had been tossed in a blender for five seconds and chopped up into itty bitty pieces. Lot's of dead ends, very few thorough fares that actually went anywhere... Sometimes you'd turn a corner three times and only find one exit... going in the same direction. Square-shaped streets were common, and it was just horridly organized. But that was what had made it so tactical for the Rebels. Was the sheer almost impossibility of actually finding anybody in this place if they wanted to hide. Additionally it was dark much of the time, it being one of those odd planets that had thirty days of night once a year, and was fairly dark otherwise as well. There was no opposite thirty days of day on this planet.
It was why the only truly vulnerable place here was the electricity installations. She was here to inspect them, make sure they were running in top shape. An odd specialty, but as scattered as the Jedi were she had volunteered for this routine duty. It wasn't going to be hard, just a mere few days on this rock and then off she went again back to the Praxeum.
The problem had come a day in when she had received news that the Imperial port supplies were being shipped from had been attacked. No survivors... which was odd enough, but from the bits she had heard it had been one person. Now that was only truly feasible if you were a REALLY good bounty hunter or a Force user... but that was no Jedi. Sighing heavily she knew if they had been that good they would get the name of this planet, and if they got the name of the planet they would be here. Now given what this nameless one had done on Imperial soil she could only imagine what they would do here. It was why she was hanging around, masking her presence as best she could in the Force. Distances away it would do, close? Not so much but it would be enough....
Shaking her head, she leaned back against a wall in the market district. For this... she did not dress as a Jedi. No, more her native clothing. She looked more like a dancer than a warrior, but that was simply the style of her people. Very little armor meant more speed. The only concession she made was a black robe with a deep hood. It was cold here, just a little. One tonfa-style hilt at each hip, underneath the robe, the entire thing was belted with a utility belt. The hood though at the moment was shoved back, and her hair... well, it had regrown, her normal deep black but it had turned out with red in it as well, she had no clue why. Running her fingerless-gloved hand through the soft tresses, she grabbed a band from her pocket and pulled it back into a long pony. A little Rodian seemed to materialize from the crowd then and to her side, and she leaned down so the alien could whisper in her ear. Nodding as the being left, she smiled. Ever loyal, Reppik was her eyes and ears in the port for this trip. He'd just delivered a status report. If it was urgent he could use the communicator she had given him.
Resting her head against the stone behind her, she looked up at the darkening sky. Night would fall soon, and all she could think about was how much she missed her Fluffy... Gelin chirped animatedly from her shoulder, huddling against her neck for warmth as he tried to cheer her up. He was a cute little creature, and more intelligence than she had thought. He was about the size of a monkey now, but a quadruped. Soft black fur and bright green eyes, a little more than a stub of a tail, and short, rounded ears. Ears that twitched constantly, and she laughed out loud at the creatures thought in her mind.
That one too fat. So fat it should fall over. Why not fall over?
She chuckled softly and scratched the things head, right between his two little ears with a chuckle.
Small one... they are being pulled on a cart. They won't fall over because they are not moving themselves.
Still too fat...., Gelin muttered, and she grinned.
Cute little thing, it was great to have him around. As lonely as she was at times it helped. Gelin was very rarely away from her at all and he was an excellent guardian when she was sleeping. Not that she would in public but he always warned her of someone approaching, sometimes even before the Force did.

“When we come out of hyperspace, activate the sensor mask and all jamming systems in order to keep us invisible,” Seth ordered his droid, Leroy, who chirped a few times in reply. The droid probably already knew these things, but Seth ordered them anyways. Thanks to the matte black color of the Slayer, the ship would be very hard to spot against the darkness of space with the naked eye. Also, since it will be nightfall when they enter Vulvarch’s atmosphere, the ship would be extremely hard to keep up with. Add to that the fact that the Slayer could out maneuver most ships, particularly rebel ships, Seth was not expecting to have any problems.
Moments later, the Slayer was in complete stealth mode, hovering silently in orbit around Vulvarch. Seth sat in the cockpit with some variant of coffee in a cup, sipping on it as he observed the air traffic moving in and out of Vulvarch. He had sent a message confirming his arrival along encrypted channels back to the Tribunal and now he was awaiting Le’Lay’s response. As soon as he thought about these things, the holographic communicator beeped. The Sith leaned forward and hit a button, projecting the image of the beautiful Le’Lay.
“Seth, you are now looking at Vulvarch. This is the Rebel colony that you have discovered many of our supplies being pirated to. We are not sure the full extent of the shipping, for we only found one source from one planet. As I’m sure that you are aware, shipments could be coming in from other Imperial planets as well. Your primary goal will be to disrupt pirate activities by any means possible. The coordinates of where the supplies are being sent were discovered in the information that you brought back here for hacking. Telescopic satellite footage shows that there is a small port with only four docks in one of the Rebel cities in the northwest hemisphere. Infiltrate into the port, find all information you can about where other shipments are coming from, and then eliminate the pirate activities.” Le’lay seemed to finish, causing Seth to sit back in his seat and nod silently to himself. However, Le’Lay had something more to say, which was unexpected. “Seth, you are landing on a planet that is about to start it’s first day of an entire cycle of night. The entire planet depends on electricity to be supplied to them during this month, moreso than other times. Upon examining the satellite footage that we retrieved for you mission, we were able to locate power plants and generators large enough to power an entire hemisphere. Your secondary goal is to find your way into this power plant and make it inoperable. The order in which you accomplish these two goals is up to you, however, it would make things easier if you were to attack the pirate dock in the pitch black darkness. Should you accomplish these two goals, it may be possible to send an Imperial Fleet to Vulvarch and land in the northwest hemisphere and invade the area. With no electricity, many of their shields will be down as well as their AA blasters. This would make it easy for us to land troopers in the area and get a foothold on Vulvarch, which we could then use to continue the battle for the entire planet. May the Force guide you on your quest.” The holographic image immediately faded.
Seth turned towards Leroy and smirked. “There is more to this than we originally thought, isn’t there?” The droid turned and looked at him blankly, but then nodded in agreement. The navigation system beeped as Le’Lay forwarded the coordinates to the Slayer, and then Seth nodded and pointed towards the northwest hemisphere of the planet. “Take us down nice and easy. I’m going to drop in, once we enter the atmosphere and venture down a ways. I want you to take the Slayer back into orbit and stay out of sight, until I give you my word.” Again, Leroy nodded in reply.
Seth finished his coffee and then stood, moving down the narrow corridors to his living area. There, he clipped his light saber to his belt and then took up a bag that resembled a backpack. In it, he placed several explosive charges, detonators and timers for those charges, and his black cloak. He then through the bag over his shoulder and moved to the main room of the ship, which held the exit. Next to the exit was what looked to be a sort of parachute. Seth turned the backpack around so that it was on his belly, and then threw the parachute over his back, strapping himself into it. When he was ready, he communicated to Leroy via a comlink on his belt. “I’ll jump outside of the city. I have the coordinates programmed into my navigator,” Seth said to Leroy, glancing down at the GPS on his wrist, which could also project and record holographic communications.
It wasn’t long before the Slayer was in the atmosphere of Vulvarch and the ramp of the Slayer was opening. Seth held onto the ship as he walked down the ramp, the wind blowing wildly against him as he moved. He reached the end of the ramp and noted how dark it was below, save for the lights of the city. The Slayer came to a complete stop in the sky, hovering without motion, and then Leroy gave the okay to jump. Seth did so, doing a back flip off the ramp and coming into a nosedive with the ground. He straightened his body out as much as possible, gaining speed as he zoomed away from the Slayer. Behind him, he could barely hear the Slayer as it’s thrusters activated and sent it back into space. The sound of wind filled his ears and the Sith closed his eyes, feeling outwards with the Force. As the man fell high above the city, he reached out, as if feeling for something in particular.
Suddenly, Seth’s eyes opened and his orange eyes seemed to flare with madness. A smirk came to his face. Then, a single word rose to his lips, unheard to anyone in the universe, even him. “JedI,” Seth stated, feeling the complete lack and purposeful masking of the Force in one area of the city. The Force was in everything and if masking yourself with the Force had one weakness, it would be the smudge that could be felt by a fellow powerful Force user. To most, it would work marvelously, but to someone that had been trained properly, a Force masking could be recognized. Now, Seth did not know where or who the feeling was emitting from. He could not even been a hundred percent sure that it was a JedI masking themselves… but it was a feeling that he could not ignore.
Once at the proper height, Seth pulled the chute’s cord and immediately slowed his decent. He fell silently then, guiding the chute with two pull cords that were on either side of him. He aimed for a particularly dark area, which looked to be some kind of field or farm or something. Seth could see the lights from a single home on the farm and he would be sure to move in that direction when he landed. The city lights could still be seen, for he was landing on a farm just outside the city. Completely silent. Completely dark. The Adept landed gracefully on the dried out grass of the farm.
Moments later, the chute had automatically repacked itself. Seth left the parachute in the tall grass, only planning to return for it if he had the time or if it was safe to do so. He then took the cloak from the backpack before throwing it over his shoulders. Then, over the backpack and everything else, he put the hooded cloak on, effectively making him harder to see in the darkness. Seth then crossed his arms over his chest and began walking towards the farm house in the distance.
It wasn’t long before Seth was approaching the house of the Rebel farmer. The man was still outside, working on a speeder. As Seth walked up, the farmer got the speeder to crank up and seemed to be quite happy with himself - that is - until he saw the black figure immerge from the darkness of his fields. He immediately fumbled around, finally finding an old blaster rifle and raising it up to aim it at Seth. “State your business, sir!” the farmer yelled out, his voice sounding more filled with fear than anything else. It was a frightening thing, to have a dark figure come out of nowhere.
“I’ll have that speeder.”
The dark figure said this and then said nothing more, only standing without motion about twenty feet away from the farmer. Just then, the wife of the farmer stepped out of the front door, rubbing her hands off on some kind of apron that she wore. Behind her, a small male child could be seen, huddling up to his mother. The dark figure’s head turned ever slightly, as if looking towards the wife and child, but the dark hood did not reveal anything of Seth’s face. It was only blackness under that hood, as far as the farmer and his family was concerned. “Well… you… you can’t have it,” the farmer stated, stammering. “We have to have it for the next month so we can go into the city once a week for supplies… so… you’ll just have to go away and find some other means..”
“I’ll have that speeder.”
The voice sounded more agitated this time. Darker. The farmer swallowed hard, shifting his rifle uncomfortably. He looked from his wife to the dark figure, who was almost in between them. The wife shook her head proudly, not wanting to give up the family’s means of transportation. Slowly, the farmer began to circle Seth, keeping his distance from him, and attempting to move closer to his family. “Why don’t you just move along, before I am forced to shoot you…” the farmer stated.
Suddenly, Seth moved with such a burst of speed that he covered the ground between himself and the farmer in the blink of an eye. To the farmer, it appeared that the black figure flew. Seth grabbed the farmer by the shirt collar, now too close for him to be shot with a rifle, and ignited his light saber through the man’s heart. It happened so quickly, that the saber was not even seen by the wife and child. Seth then turned towards the two remaining family members, who shrieked as their husband and father fell to the ground dead. Seth remained completely dark, except for the silver hilt of his light saber which glistened in the light of the farmhouse. The woman slammed the door shut and took the child to hide somewhere in the house. Then, outside, Seth once again ignited his light saber and walked towards the door.
An hour later…
The speeder cruised through the city streets with Seth at the controls. His hood was pulled back and he used the Force to mask his appearance, making him look like a normal man. His eyes were a normal brown color and his skin appeared to be tanned from the sun. He did not, however, mask himself with the Force. If the smudge in the Force that he thought to be a JedI wanted to confront him, he would more than welcome it. But in the mean time… he moved through the streets to the power plant.

Tarrah couldn't know it, but she sensed him around the same time he did her, and she winced. Dark, very dark, roiling like the clouds on her planet during an electrical storm, and she really didn't like it. The sensation sent a shiver down her spine as she looked up into the sky. It was there somewhere, getting rapidly closer, and right now she was kicking herself. Why oh why did she have to be right about someone coming here? And now? She KNEW they were no Jedi. Still, she kept herself masked because if she was lucky they wouldn't be sure about her, and any advantage she could get she would take until she knew just what was going on.
Sometime later she felt the presence get closer... and closer... She was still in the same spot, and the Rodian had visited her once more to let her know it was all clear, but she knew it wasn't. The presence had not been here before, she was sure of that, which meant he had to come on SOME sort of ship. It was not an encouraging thing to know that whatever ship it was had bypassed the planets scans and such. Not at all, because it meant that the systems on it were better than the entire bloody planets. Tarrah had sent the Rodian off with a warning. There was something coming, something like her but much darker... The little one had gone running like the hounds of hell were after him, and who knew? Perhaps they would be soon.
Gelin chirped in animated, angry twitters, his eyes large and round and she stroked him in a calming way. He was picking up on her emotions, her anxiety, and she didn't like that.
Shut me out small one. It will not help if you are as upset as I.
The little furry creature relaxed slightly, and she could feel his little simple mind receding from her own, though given his age he really couldn't be that simple a creature. Less than a year old and he had the mentality of a four year old. Claws left her slightly padded shoulder, and she smiled a little, bringing the little one down to her eye level.
Now Gelin, can you go back to the ship for me and guard it? There will be a fight here, and this is not one you can help me with. I don't want you harmed.
There was protest in her mind for a moment but then Gelin agreed, jumping from her shoulder and scampering off into the crowd and towards the port. She smiled watching the little one go, but then frowned. There WOULD be a fight, and she hated being sure, but she was. Battle precognition was at times a boon, at times a curse. At least hers had honed enough now that she wasn't detecting domestic squabbles. That had only been in the very beginning though. It had made her a particular pariah on her home planet. Dathomir had many 'domestic' squabbles.
A moment later she was very, very glad that she had sent Gelin off because the presence moved past her. Her eyes fixed on a seemingly normal male on a speeder but.... She shook her head. That was the one she was looking for. Running around the corner she started up her speeder and hopped on it. It was one lent to her by the local peacekeepers. In very good repair it was also fast as hell. She'd catch up soon. The problem was though that she realized in what direction they were heading. The electrical facilities? Bloody hell.... smart, smart cookie. Knock out the power, knock out the lights. It would make it very difficult for anyone but nocturnal species or gifted Force users to navigate. Whoever had organized this knew this was the first of thirty days of night.
Her smooth featured face twisted slightly and she gunned the engine. She couldn't be totally sure that was where they were headed, but... it seemed very, very likely. Soon she could see the speeder ahead, and Tarrah closed in, getting closer, but held back a short distance. If this was who she thought, or more accurately what, then they would know she was here.

Seth cruised through the city in the piece-of-shit speeder as fast as it would go. At any rate, it was faster than walking and it would help him to conserve his energy. He journeyed along, throwing a polite smile to anyone who might look towards him. The smile of course, was worthy of an Academy Award, considering the fact that he wanted this entire city to be destroyed. It would be too easy though, to come through here with a 1000 megaton bomb and blow a huge chunk out of the entire planet. Truthfully though, Rebel defenses on this planet were quite exceptional, except for when it came to an aircraft like Seth’s Slayer. It was very easy and possible for one lone ship with stealth equipment to sneak onto a planet such as Vulvarch.
An intersection came up ahead of him and he slowed down to a stop, waiting on the signal to change. He glanced around at a few fellow drivers, before facing back to the front. Ahead, through the row of buildings on either side of the street, the massive power plant could be seen. It was not that far and it stuck out in the city much like a sports stadium would. It was about as large as one of those, too. Seth couldn’t decide, however, if he should use the charges in his back pack to blow the power plant, or to infiltrate the plant, kill every worker, and then destroy every piece of machinery with his light saber. Actually, it didn’t take much thought of all. The second choice would be the most…
“JedI,” Seth stated to himself, his thoughts interrupted by the feeling that was suddenly behind him. His eyes shifted to the left and the right, looking in the mirrors and he spotted a speeder that had the markings of the local peacekeepers. In it, sat an out of place woman with black hair and beautiful features. She definitely did not look like your average security officer. To be honest, she was out of place, compared to most of the rag tag citizens on this piece of shit planet. Seth tilted his head slightly, causing his neck to pop, and then smiled in an almost ferocious manner.
Seth then did something that most people would not expect. He pulled off his backpack, unzipped it, stuck the detonators in it and then twisted the timers until they were set on thirty seconds. There were four explosive charges, each one capable of destroying an entire building, each one now armed for thirty seconds. Seth then opened the door to the speeder, stepped out, shifted the speeder into gear, and then threw the back pack down so that it landed on the gas peddle. The speeder zoomed straight away, leaving Seth on the sidewalk. Needless to say, the speeder didn’t make it but a block or so, before it could be seen crashing into a building and flipping several times.
If that wasn’t distraction enough, Seth now stood on the sidewalk staring straight at Tarrah. He removed his cloak to expose his black robes that strongly resembled a Sith’s robes, and his eyes flared a bright orange in madness. It would look quite frightening to most, because Seth was incredibly pale, his eyes were sunken in and almost black around the orbits, and then the iris was glowing a bright orange. On his hip, very obviously, was his dual light saber.
“How obvious can you be, JedI?” Seth stated, keeping that ferocious smirk on his face. “Your power is weak. I felt you the moment I entered the atmosphere, despite your pathetic attempt at masking yourself,” he said. Despite saying this, he felt her potential with the Force. However, JedI usually do not react well when they are made angry - quite simply, they are not used to handling the feeling alongside with the Force. “Only through the Dark Side, will you know the true power of the Force…”
As soon as he finished that statement, as if on cue, a huge explosion erupted a block or so away where the speeder had crashed a few moments prior. The entire sky was lit up in orange flame and the concussion of the blast was sending vehicles and debris flying everywhere. The wall of fire nearly made it’s way back to the intersection that Seth was standing at, and the concussion most definitely did, carrying a few flames and heat with it. Everyone around Seth fell to the ground from the blast, some getting burned or killed by the debris, but Seth stood there silently, a Force shield becoming visible around him as the heat burned off around it. The shield then fell back to being invisible, once the heat dissipated. The sound of air sucking could be heard then as the explosion literally drew in a breath, and a mushroom cloud formed where the explosion took place. As the explosion withdrew, fire and debris were everywhere. Every glass in a mile radius had been shattered. Hundreds of people and aliens were just killed. Where the explosion took place, three ten story buildings fell to the ground, raising dust and debris throughout the street. People were screaming… bleeding… in an instant… Seth turned the city into pure chaos.
Still, despite it all, Seth stood silently on the sidewalk staring towards Tarrah… ready for her response.

She was just a few speeders back, keeping pace but little more. She was certain where the male was heading now, and her battle precognition was flaring like a small sun in her mind. Lovely, just lovely... The speeder purred smoothly beneath her, easily, and she turned to wave at the male just to her left, also on a peacekeeper's speeder, and yelled across.
"Batten down the hatches and prepare my friend. See that one?" She indicated the vehicle just a few bits ahead and the human nodded. "Big trouble. Go give warning...." Her eyes shifted forward towards the male she was following and she screamed at the peacekeeper. "Go now!"
The male immediately left, thankfully, as she watched her mark stepping from the speeder, and her blood was humming with the prospect of a fight. She was more in-tune with herself than many. Despite the teachings of the Jedi they had not been able to crush some of her basic beliefs and one of them was that a good fight was comparable to finding god. She didn't see what he did with his pack, but suddenly the speeder was moving away, and she hut her own off, jumping from it with a snap of her cloak. This was bad.. this was very.... Shit she knew... "Get down now!" she screamed at startled citizens, but not many listened. Her eyes glittering, she stared at the male as he pulled off his cloak, and she winced. Adai... she fucking knew it. The robes strongly resembled those of a Sith, and as his eyes flared orange she tilted her head curiously. A powerful Adai and very close to the Dark Side too. It didn't scare her. She could look a rancor in the eye and laugh. Her eyes flicked down to his lightsaber. Dual.. nice.
“How obvious can you be, JedI?” the male stated, keeping that ferocious smirk on his face. “Your power is weak. I felt you the moment I entered the atmosphere, despite your pathetic attempt at masking yourself,” he said. “Only through the Dark Side, will you know the true power of the Force…”
As if on cue there was an explosion, and immediately she through up a shield around herself and as many people around her as she could. Using deflection for those she could not but... she felt the heat, and there was just too many pieces of debris for her to be totally successful. Burning flesh... and the ground shook beneath her feet, but she never took her eyes off the bastard and his smug little smirk. Oh and a shield too, just like her. Hundreds had to have been killed in that moment, and she wanted to help them. But if she didn't deal with this one first she wouldn't get that chance.
So she did something unexpected.
Tarrah laughed.
Staring into his eyes she laughed, her entire body shaking with it as she tossed off her cloak, exposing the rather revealing clothing. It was nothing close to robes, and if he knew of the Dathomiri he would recognize it. Her tonfa-style hilts set at her outer-thighs, she didn't reach for them, not yet, though she knew with clarity that she would have to.
"Every time your kind amuse me more, did you know that? You are going to have to come up with a far better hook than that. So unoriginal. Makes me think you're just like the rest of them."
Chuckling, she added softly, not daring to look around herself for survivors,
"I know what the Darkside feels like. I have heard it's call... but I made my choice long ago. Oh, and just so you know trying to make someone angry by calling them weak... it won't work with me." She smiled, very shark-like and unamused. "I follow the Light, but I know the Dark. Not sure you want to test me on that little boy."

"Every time your kind amuse me more, did you know that? You are going to have to come up with a far better hook than that. So unoriginal. Makes me think you're just like the rest of them…. I know what the Darkside feels like. I have heard it's call... but I made my choice long ago. Oh, and just so you know trying to make someone angry by calling them weak... it won't work with me." Tarrah smiled at him then, but Seth did not look amused. "I follow the Light, but I know the Dark. Not sure you want to test me on that little boy."
“My kind?” came Seth’s reply and he turned slightly in order to walk down the sidewalk. He moved slowly, keeping his eyes focused on the Dathomiri while still remaining about the same distance away from her. “You have never encountered my kind, I assure you of that.” He stopped walking then, now standing directly across from her on the sidewalk. His orange eyes moved over her form one time as if sizing her up. “For there is only one of me. And you say that you know the Dark Side? And that you have… what’s that? Heard its call?”
Seth laughed then. Loudly. It was a very unusual sound coming from him and it sounded unnatural - as if it did not occur very often. A person suddenly ran between them on fire, screaming their head off. Seth seemed to notice this briefly and he continued to laugh. He finally stopped after a few seconds, and then put his boot on the back of a dead body that was on the ground before him. “That is hilarious, JedI… or should I say, Dathomiri? Do you think that your resistance of the Dark Side has made you stronger? Or has it made you more foolish? I am telling you, it is the latter. If you have loved, you have felt the Dark Side. But until you accept,” Seth held out his hands then, as if making a point. “all things… And draw power from all things… and feel the Dark Side run through you as I have… You can not say that you have the ability to test me. I have not faced someone of your stature since I was a youngling and even then they did not fare well against me.”
Almost instantly, his light saber was in his hand. He reached up with both hands and seemed to twist the hilt of the dual light saber and it came a part in the center, so now he held a saber’s hilt in each hand. “Which style will you choose to defeat me… your opponent who is but a little boy… Ataru? Niman?” As Seth named off fighting styles, he moved the hilts of the light sabers into various starting positions, displaying the fact that he knew each style that he named off. “Soresu? Oh, no, no… For you, my darling…” Seth quickly put the two hilts together and held out the dual light saber horizontal to the ground.
“Juyo..”
With a great burst a speed Seth jumped forward igniting both ends of his light saber while in flight. He did a somersault , keeping his eyes on Tarrah, and landed just in front of her while bringing one end of the dual saber down with him, attempting to cut her body in half. Instantly, whether or not that blow fell or was deflected, Seth took several quick steps backwards, spinning the dual saber around him wildly in an almost blinding fashion, in a way that would most likely parry a counterattack from the Dathomiri. His actions would immediately show the skills he possessed with a light saber, for there were not many Adai that could match his blade.

He was laughing and it was unnatural. Not that that surprised her, the rest of him was too after all. He was walking down the sidewalk slowly, keeping his eyes on her, and she didn't move much, just shifted slightly to follow him with her eyes, her hands staying still by her sides. Moving like a feral predator he was... and she observed his movements closely. Her only real distraction was the screaming person running by, on fire, and she flinched. She knew the male saw it, but she didn't care. That was a horrible way to go and she couldn't do anything about it. To look away would mean death, she was sure of that.
The male was now using a dead body as a footrest... how nice.
“That is hilarious, JedI… or should I say, Dathomiri? Do you think that your resistance of the Dark Side has made you stronger? Or has it made you more foolish? I am telling you, it is the latter. If you have loved, you have felt the Dark Side. I have not faced someone of your stature since I was a youngling and even then they did not fare well against me.”
She chuckled to herself in her mind. Tarrah was not going to correct his assumption, it might come in handy later. Hell, it might come in handy very quickly if she was honest with herself. His lightsaber was in his hand in an instant, and her eyes narrowed to near slits. He was trying to taunt her.. or scare her, but one thing he would learn... she did not scare easily.
“Which style will you choose to defeat me… your opponent who is but a little boy… Ataru? Niman?” As the male named off fighting styles, he moved the hilts of the light sabers into various starting positions, displaying the fact that he knew each style that he named off. She was impressed despite herself. He looked around her age, and he was clearly a powerful practitioner. “Soresu? Oh, no, no… For you, my darling…” she snarled as the male quickly put the two hilts together and held out the dual light saber horizontal to the ground. “Juyo..”
Her eyes tracked him as he jumped, lightsaber igniting on both ends. It wasn't easy, Juyo was fast and vicious, but she managed and would continue to do so. This male was probably close to her equal, and she would admit that unnerved her a bit. Waiting until the last moment, just before impact, her hands flashed down and grabbed the tonfa hilts, igniting both blades and bringing one up in a spinning block, gritting her teeth at the force of the blow. When he stepped back though so did she, she wasn't going to counterattack yet. She was just surprised. The speed of that and he must have nearly mastered Juyo, then again it really shouldn't surprise her that he had done so so young.
"Impressive... but you've assumed a couple things that you should not have, a flaw of the overconfident." Taking a deep breath to center herself she let the thrill of this beginning battle fill her mind, Tarrah moved slowly through the first few recognizable movements in Vaapad as she kept her dark eyes on the Halloween orange ones of the other. "I am a Dathomiri witch," she hissed, using speed to move for him like a striking cobra, blades spinning in a sweeping horizontal cut for his legs, "and we use both sides of the Force." As close as she was she didn't want to remain there, and regardless of whether the strike hit or not she flipped back and away from the male, coming to a stop, her blade snapping immediately to her arm and to a stop. Regarding him for a moment, she tilted her head, and the Dark side was in her eyes, just a bit.

"Impressive... but you've assumed a couple things that you should not have, a flaw of the overconfident." the JedI stated, moving through a few motions of Juyo, also known as Vaapad. "I am a Dathomiri witch," the witch seemed to hiss this at him before coming at him with a burst of speed in order to strike at his legs. Seth found this to be a foolish move, considering the high ground usually won out in a duel, but he did not attempt to land a death strike just yet. Perhaps he would regret that later, but for now, he was enjoying the sport of this contest. Instead of retaliating, Seth waited until the very last moment of her attack and jumped extremely high - about a ten foot vertical - holding his ignited saber out beside him as he did so. He performed a back flip, just as she would do after her attack which would find nothing but air, and landed on the sidewalk where he had originally begun a few moments prior. He then heard another laughable statement coming from the witch‘s lips. "and we use both sides of the Force." The Dark Side showed itself briefly inside her, and Seth could feel it like a splinter in his flesh.
The Sith smiled. “There is a saying out there, witch. That it is better to be a master of one thing, than it is to be able to use many things. While you balance on the brink of indecisiveness, I have chosen my power and my fate. I fully immerse and draw my power from the Dark Side, while you choose to use but a small portion of it. Your threat of the Dark Side towards me is useless, for my mastery of it far surpasses your own,” Seth said this in a hissing tone, his ruby red light saber humming loudly. It was a powerful weapon, constructed of Sith crystals, which were known for making a stronger blade. “You…”
His words were suddenly interrupted by blaster fire as a speeder that was similar to Tarrah’s pulled up at the nearby intersection with a turret firing towards Seth immediately. As quickly as they fired, Seth ducked low into a crouching position, the blaster bolts scorching right over his head. As he ducked, he threw his light saber towards about the center of Tarrah and the speeder and it seemed to divide by itself in midair. The two halves flew like a streak of lightning, one spinning towards Tarrah and the other shooting towards the speeder. As the blaster fire was interrupted by the flying light saber, Seth leapt upwards, his body stretching out and flipping in midair until his feet came to rest upon the roof of the building that was behind him. Then, much like boomerangs that were guided by the powerful suction of the force, both blades spun to return to him.
However, while Tarrah may or may not have deflected the lightning quick light saber that flew her way, the one heading towards the speeder was another matter. The saber was guided masterfully and struck true to its target - the fuel cells of the speeder. The speeder exploded, sending the officers flying, but thankfully the light saber was thrown with such speed that it literally outran the explosive forces, before making its way back to Seth’s hand. That being said, Tarrah would definitely have to concentrate on the spinning saber of death that was heading her way, considering the speed in which it traveled.
Above, on the roof top, Seth caught both sabers in his hands and instantly turned them off. As the light of the sabers disappeared, so did Seth. He turned and sprinted with great speed and perhaps his shadowy form could be seen leaping over the large gap of the street to the next building, but his direction was clear. Seth ran like a madman using the speed ability that the Force granted him. He was heading towards the power generators.

The male smiled at her, and she was beginning to think that this one was Sith. The Adai claimed to the world at large to be a small community of Force users dedicated to the furthering of the Imperial cause, but with her experiences with them so far.... Especially Chalryne. Oh the Chiss could smile sweetly, but you could feel the malevolence from the woman. She could feel the same thing from this male, and it made her shiver. Not in fear, but in excitement. He really was very good, had avoided her attack like a master. If he was Adai, then he was high up, and she thought he likely was.... The aura of the Chiss was about him, and for what other reason would it be?
“There is a saying out there, witch. That it is better to be a master of one thing, than it is to be able to use many things. While you balance on the brink of indecisiveness, I have chosen my power and my fate. I fully immerse and draw my power from the Dark Side, while you choose to use but a small portion of it. Your threat of the Dark Side towards me is useless, for my mastery of it far surpasses your own,” Seth said this in a hissing tone, his ruby red light saber humming loudly. “You…”
Tarrah blinked. She would have responded to him too but the blaster fire erupted form a nearby intersection and she swore loudly, calling out, "You bloody idiots! I told you to leave it to me!" They would pay for it, she knew they would. She watched as it began. As fast as blaster fire was the male was faster. It was interesting to watch him move, like a striking snake, and as he ducked under the bolts of energy he threw his lightsaber. She watched it warily, it was evenly between her and the speeder, and her mind glimmered. "Move!" The speeder tried, but she couldn't look to see because she had about two seconds to react herself.
Diving and rolling to the right, or trying to, so hopefully the bloody thing would miss her, she wasn't quite fast enough. The spinning, angry red blade just skimmed her left shoulder and a bit of her back, and she gave a sharp cry as she hit the ground, biting the dust so to speak. She felt and heard the speeder explode, the wash of heat and the concussive force and sound breaking over her head as she took deep, sharp breaths. It wasn't a serious injury, not really, more a burn than anything but it hurt like a bitch. Tarrah gave herself a few seconds and then pushed herself to her feet, looking around and.... shit! He was gone, she could sense him moving away towards the generators but... how was she going to stop him? She honestly wasn't sure she could. Then again she had to try. Hissing at the pain, she took a moment and walled it off, pushing it to the back of her mind. She had to, otherwise she had no chance at all.
Gathering herself she leapt up to the roof and started off in the direction she sensed him moving, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, using the Force to speed her way. She had to catch him. She had to stop him, and she didn't know how.

Seth ran. He saw the minor strike that he made on the JedI back there, but he knew that she would still be hot on his trail. So instead of making the chase easy for her, he decided to make it difficult. While continuing to run in the same direction, he made his way over to the edge of the buildings. He then performed an acrobatic feat by doing a sort of running, handless cartwheel, flipping over the side of the building. His running momentum continued him forward, and he hit the sidewalk on the street below as if he never lost a stride, picking the sprint for the power plant back up where he left off.
Now, Seth was using the Force to assist his sprint, so it would nearly take a 74-Z speeder bike in order to catch him. He was leaning forward so far that his chin was just a foot or so off the ground, his legs pumping at a speed that should not be possible. Traffic and pedestrians created obstacles for him to move around, but he did so with grace, even running up and down walls as he moved. The world blurred by him, but if he knew anything - he knew that the injured JedI was doing her best to keep up. Knowing this to be a fact, he decided to cause as much chaos on the way to the generators as possible.
Still holding the hilt of a saber in each hand, he ignited the ruby red blades and held them out at either side of him as he ran. Like a streak of lightning, the blades found their way through light posts, pedestrians, ships and vehicles, passing through them all like a warm knife through butter. Then, as if that was not causing enough trouble for the JedI behind him, Seth released both light sabers, using telekinesis in order to spin the light sabers and keep them killing and destroying just a few feet behind him.
His eyes shined with a menacing orange color as he pumped his hands and legs, only stopping his hand long enough to reach down to his communicator. “Hone in on me, Leroy. Prepare the torpedo launchers, the ion cannon, and the seismic charges. Load the coordinates for the port and when I am approaching it, let loose with all of our armament…” Seth paused in order to turn sharply in order to avoid a speeder, moving so quickly to the right that he ran up the walls of the buildings, before moving back down to the street again. Behind him, all hell was breaking loose from the carnage his light sabers were wreaking. “Let loose with all of our armament on the port and focus fire with the seismic charges for each one of the bay doors. I will mop up as many survivors as possible as you let lose the armament. They shouldn’t be able to see you coming, once I shut down the power. I also want you to have the coordinates to the closest Imperial outpost set in our hyper drive, because we will have X-wings and other fighters hot on our tail as we head out of here. Once that is done, this area will be prepped for a full assault, before they can restore their power. Leroy, instead of destroying the generators, I need you to download a virus with an Imperial encryption in it, that will give the Rebels at least a few hours or hacking in order to restore power.”
Almost immediately, his data pad beeped as Leroy sent him the requested information. On the horizon, the power generators grew closer.

Bloody hell the little bastard was fast. Jumped like a monkey too, from rooftop to rooftop, but she almost lost him when he moved down to the street. She was closer than he thought though, thankfully. The Force was a tool and she used it as such, allowing it to boost her speed. Thing was, she had much, much more practice than the one that she was suspecting to be Sith, and he would find that out soon enough. She was angry, and getting angrier as she almost shot right past him, but the screams and explosions from below allowed her to locate him again. Oh hell....
As fast as she was running she could see him as she flipped down to the street, her lightsabers humming but she kept them in close. No random destruction for her. No, if she had to do something it would be targeted and cause as little loss of life as possible. As it was she was busy deflecting debris from hitting her and those she passed, so many injured, so many dead and she could not help them. Then again the best thing to do would be to get this one out of here, away from this planet. Even better would be destruction, but she wasn't sure that was possible. Not injured as she was anyway, and not with the male's strength in the darkside. He was right to a point though. Knowing one thing made you strong, but sometimes knowing both made you balanced, and that could win in the end.
Head nearly taken off by a flying piece of debris that she deflected just in time, Tarrah closed the gap, speaking smugly into his mind.
--Do not look behind you. Wouldn't want you to trip and fall...--
She gave a little mental laugh, staying several feet behind him, enough distance she had time to react if he did something and deflect anything coming her way. She would track him this way, and as they neared the powerplant she felt an enquring chirp in her mind from Gelin. Poor fluffball was worried but she didn't have the time. Pushing the little thing away with hurried assurances, she almost stumbled over a piece of a speeder, pushing off with her foot and jumping, but just clipping it. Snarling as she hit the ground shoulder first, she rolled and kept on going.
At least now she was close enough the male could hear if she spoke aloud.
"Run little darksider. Run...."

Like a streak of lightning, the ship called “The Slayer” did an abrupt U-turn and shot back down towards the city that Seth was currently wreaking havoc in. Rebel fighters had already been scattered and the sky above the city was busy with air traffic. However, the rebels would soon find out why the ship that Seth owned was called the Slayer, even with a droid in the pilot seat. The ship reached the horizon of the city fast, and then flew down lower than was acceptable to most law officials throughout the galaxy. The engines were still in full thrust, and the sound that they created shook the building and broke glass much like an earthquake.
Seth turned his head slightly in order to glance towards Tarrah, throwing her an evil smirk. He did this an opportune time, when there was no traffic ahead of him. His eyes met hers only briefly after she told him to run. “No, you confused swine!” He called out as he looked back ahead just in time to leap over a speeder and continue running as if he never loss a stride. “It is you who should speed up and run a little faster!”
As soon as that statement was complete, the world around them rattled and shook, growing loud with the sound of an explosion that never seemed to end. The two light sabers behind him shot suddenly into his hands and they switched off. Suddenly, above them, the Slayer zoomed over their heads so low that the heat of the afterburners could be felt quite well upon their faces. The ship went a little ways ahead of them, came to a quick stop and then wheeled around almost so quickly that it appeared to be a violent motion. The ship then continued it’s motion, flying backwards just above the building’s rooftops. A hatch on the ships underbelly then opened, and the tip of an ion cannon was exposed, aimed right in the direction of Tarrah.
Seth continued to run forward without losing a step, and the ship flew backwards a block or so ahead of them. All of these actions happened within just seconds after Seth’s last statement. Then, the ion cannon let loose, firing just over Seth’s head with the intentions of hitting the witch. It fired continuously, the sound of the cannon being the only thing louder than the engines of the Slayer. Seth used this instant, as Tarrah was being shot at by an attack vessel, to run up the side of the building, end up on it’s roof, and then leap like a madman onto the top of the Slayer. The ship immediately took on some altitude, rotated, and shot off towards the power generators like a bat out of hell, all the while with Seth squatting on top of it.
As the Slayer shot off from the scene, ten X-wings suddenly zoomed overhead, moving so quickly that it would be inevitable that they would catch up to the Slayer before the Slayer could get up to speed. Seth stood up, using the Force to balance himself on the roof of the Slayer at such a high speed, and then spoke to Leroy. “You’ve got ten X-wings on your tail. Deflector shields 70% to the rear. Call command and get those Destroyers here pronto. Now… Let them catch up. ”
Almost instantly, the X-wings caught up to the Slayer and began shooting. The Slayer flew well past the power generators, doing evasive maneuvers in order to not be hit by the X-wings fire. However, it was incapable of dodging all of the shots, and the splashes against the rear deflector shields were becoming visible with every accurate shot. The X-wings closed in, and Seth could even see the look on the pilot’s face as the pilot saw a man standing on top of the ship that they were pursuing.
Using the Force to guide him, Seth suddenly leapt from the top of the Slayer and became suspended in space - but only for a short instant - because he suddenly came down onto the windshield of the X-wing with such force that his knee cracked it. A single light saber instantly drawn, Seth held on tight to one of the ladder rungs that the pilot used to climb up into the ship, while slicing his blade through the R-2 unit behind the pilot. It squealed in the most child like way as it died. Then, he instantly brought his light saber back down onto the windshield, passing through it like butter, and striking the pilot across the face, literally bringing the man’s face off. Since they were moving as such high speed, the glass of the cockpit shattered and flew everywhere, providing Seth easy access to the cockpit. He jumped inside, cut the pilot out of the seat, and then threw the pilot overboard.
Then, his orange eyes moved upwards to an X-wing that was directly beside the one that he had just destroyed. The pilot’s face fill with fear… and then Seth leapt over to that X-wing as well. The X-wing he jumped from zoomed to the ground, making that familiar sound that could only be associated with a nose diving, out of control aircraft. A huge explosion occurred down below as the X-wing hit a building. While the pilots were quite distracted and terrified by what they saw Seth doing, the Slayer used this opportunity to whip around in a loop de loop fashion and come in behind all of the remaining X-wings. The ion cannons fired continuously, the large round easily penetrating the shields of the fighter aircrafts. Left and right, the fighters went down, as one particular X-wing made a sudden U-turn and headed back towards the power generators.
Seth was the pilot.

“No, you confused swine!” He called out as he looked back ahead just in time to leap over a speeder and continue running as if he never loss a stride. “It is you who should speed up and run a little faster!” The world rattled and shook, and even as immersed in the Force as she was for a moment she had a hard time keeping her balance. But she managed, eyes glinting as his sabers moved back to his hands and switched off. Gods, he really was good but so bloody arrogant. Believing you were invincible was a sure way to get you killed. Acknowledging your weaknesses and working to balance them, that was the way to go. Of course now was not the time to think of such things, not when she could feel the heat of engines on her face and then she saw the ship, so low, but a moment later it stopped, wheeled about, and she flinched as the ion cannon lowered from it's underbelly while it flew backwards. Well this... was not going to be pleasant. Survivable, but definitely not fun.
As they started to fire she used random bursts of speed and her precognition to keep barely ahead of the shots, but she could still feel the heat of their passing, close enough her skin nearly blistered. The firing of the cannon may have been continuous, but it was also predictable, which enabled her to widen the distance a little more. It was like there was a machine piloting the thing and not a human. Or maybe a program. Either way it didn't particularly matter, she was just thankful for it. She quickly found though that avoidance wasn't the problem. It was the sound. It was actually starting to bother her, but thankfully she got a reprieve when the Slayer zoomed off, and lost sight of the male she'd been chasing. She assumed that he'd got to the ship somehow, and sighed heavily. This was going to be interesting. A flight of X-wings zoomed by overhead, and if any of them had been a Sensitive she may have warned them not to even try, but they weren't, and she was forced to watch as one by one they were taken down. Swearing, and puring on the speed, she reached the power plant finally, slowing way down just as an untouched X-wing zipped by overhead.
I wonder who that is? she thought sarcastically, eyes following the movement of the ship and wondering where it was going to land, her lightsaber in her hand but not ignited. She did not enjoy using the Dark Side, but if it took that in order to defeat this one then she would embrace it. Tarrah was confident in her ability to push it back anyhow, to maintain her own balance, and she smiled a little. This was more of a challenge than she had had in a long time. Funny thing was... death had not crossed her mind as of yet.

The X-wing fighter flew quickly towards the generators as rebel forces scrambled in the area. The Slayer finished off the last of the squadron with a fiery explosion, before quickly turning and catching up to Seth's X-wing. The speed and grace of the Slayer was outstanding, despite being larger than an average fighter. Blue flames roared steadily out of its propulsion orifices as the ship now became the wingman of the rogue X-wing. Seth soared closer and closer to the multistory generator. The generator itself was one of the taller buildings in the city, with each story holding offices and other rooms needed to work the complex machine. All in all, it stood nearly forty stories, making it quite a climb for anyone who would wish to reach the top. It resembled a large globe with a hole in the center, for cooling purposes. This hole went straight to reactor and if Seth wished, he would certainly drive his ship to the reactor and destroy it. However, that was not his mission nor his purpose.
It was quicker, instead, to breach one of the upper floors and infiltrate the mainframe that controlled the reactor. With this in mind, Seth opened the cockpit of the X-wing, the shell blowing off the X-wing due to the speed he was traveling. He stood in the pilot seat and turned to face the R2 unit that would surely take control of the craft should its pilot leave the controls, and with a thought, he destroyed the inner workings of the droid. It hissed one time and then squealed out, before it went still and dark. Seth then flew directly towards the generator building, aiming for one of the upper floors. Moments before impact, Seth pushed the controls of the ship downwards, and then jumped forward, using the momentum of the ship and the force to head straight towards one of the windows 39th floor. The X-wing dive bombed and finally struck the building at about the fifteenth floor, exploding and shaking the entire building violently. As Seth soared through the air head first, he drew his saber and ignited it, slicing through the window at the last moment and then tucking himself into a ball and rolling inside.
He rolled several times, depending heavily on the force to slow and control his movements. Finally, he rose to his feet in a graceful manner, the final roll leaving him on his feet with his lightsaber at ready. Outside, the Slayer screamed by, circling the generator one time before suddenly taking off towards the atmosphere with a loud sonic boom. For those civilians that were witnessing the scene, they could very well think that they were being attacked by a much larger force than just one Sith. But that was because they had never witnessed such a foe. Rebel workers came running out of the generator building and surrounding buildings, as fire and warning alarms sounded. Rebel soldiers began arriving on scene, surrounding the building and preparing to go inside. The commander of these forces went to Tarrah, who was at the base of the generator, looking for guidance.
Inside, Seth walked quickly out of the room that he made entrance, quickly meeting resistance from Rebel security forces. He fended off the blaster fire with his lightsaber, at times deflecting the blaster bolts back to their origin, and at other times approaching a Rebel and striking them down with his blade. The hallway was quickly filled with the bodies of those who dared to oppose Seth. Moments after he made entry to the building, Seth located a computer which was part of the central server, and quickly attached his portable com-link, uploading a virus into the mainframe of the generator. He did not seek to destroy the building, only disable it. The Sith then retrieved his device, just as the lights grew dim and slowly grew dark as the motion of the generator gradually slowed and lost power.
"Leroy. Notify Imperial command that power is down. Main anti-aircraft weapons should be down. Launch their attack when they are ready," Seth stated to his droid, who chirped back an affirmative message. Seth then turned away from the computer and moved out of the office, into the hallway and towards the exit. He walked with his head down and a glare on his face, looking as menacing and evil as possible. Just as he approached the door to the lift, it opened, and five Rebel soldiers ran out and turned in his direction. They all were wearing state of the art gear, which was equipped with night vision and thermal imaging. Instantly, their leader pointed towards Seth.
"There he is, shoot him!" The sergeant ordered, pointing towards Seth. The dark hallway was then lit up with blaster fire.
Seth reacted as quickly as the soldiers began firing, reaching out with the Force and pushing outwards with it. He extended his hands in this gesture and suddenly the soldiers were flung through the air and into a nearby wall. Seth then squeezed both hands into tight fists, using Force crush, and all of the soldiers screamed in agony as their bodies caved in upon them. Blood oozed from their eyes, nose, ears, and mouth as their faces turned a dark crimson color. Seth then relaxed his posture, and the soldiers fell limp to the ground. Dead. The Sith then continued forward as if nothing had happened, stepping into the lift and pushing the button for the ground floor.

She was angry. So very angry but there was absolutely nothing she could do at the moment. She'd seen where Seth had gone, fairly certain of his aim, and knew she would not be able to reach that floor and stop him in time. Which left her with a very large problem. The Rebel commander approached her as she thought, standing still in the lobby, perhaps seeing the lightsaber clutched in a death grip by the pale-skinned hand, and he looked nervous. Afraid. But willing to do what must be done. She imagined he thought he should send his soldiers off to try and stop the interloper. In fact she was afraid he already had. Tarrah finally glanced up, her eyes glinting red for a moment before they faded back to her normal, dark-chocolate shade. The poor man jumped. She just smiled.
"I know what you want to do." She didn't really, but had a hell of a good guess. "Not a good idea at all. He will kill them in about as much time as it takes someone to blink." She let that sink in, watch as the rugged face paled, and she sighed. "You already did send some of them didn't you?" "Yes...," came the choked reply, and she felt honestly bad for the man. It seemed he cared for his men, cared enough that he minded when he got them killed. Tarrah spoke softly, "Do not send more. Call back who you can. We will not be able to stop him from his aim, but if you keep some men back and ALIVE we may be able to fix it. I will try and stop him... lead him away from here, to give you and your men the chance to get the generators up again. You have to do it fast. I am sure more forces are waiting even as we...." Tarrah swore as the lights went out, and the night vision equipped commander echoed her. "You need to send them now. Tell them to take the stairs.....," she sensed Seth descending, evenly.... must be the lift. "And I hope to god one of them is good with repairing damaged programming." She waved him off urgently as the lift descended further. She knew what she had to do.
Tarrah had to keep his attention enough that he did not have a chance to go after the men sent to fix the generator. She just hoped to god they could do it quickly, otherwise all of them were going to be knee-deep in Imperial shit.
