Our number one rule is that everyone uses common sense, as well as rational thinking, rather than allowing emotions to get the better of them. We don’t want drama on this site. If you truly do not think that a confrontation with someone can be avoided, then we ask that you contact a staff member immediately, to help resolve it.
In terms of word count, this site doesn’t have one, however we do ask that you try your best, especially if someone gives you a considerable sized post, try to give what you get and match them in length. We like to see effort, but it’s understandable that not every response will require much. Just steer clear of one liners.
Respect the rights of a person to their characters. Don’t take control of them or kill them without the permission of the creator.
If you read about a character in their profile and learn something about them, such as a weakness, that doesn’t automatically mean that your character should be able to know about it. Unless of course there’s a logical reason behind them knowing. Do not mix In Character (IC) with Out of Character (OOC).
A member is not their character and their character is not them. So if someone is playing a mean, rude, detestable character, don’t treat them with contempt around the site, like on the c-box, just because the person they’re playing is a slime ball. This coincides with what was said above as well.
IC =/= OOC
Spamming is a no-no. Whether it is for another role play site or for something else, we’d appreciate it if you keep from doing it. There’s a forum for plugging your board if you wish to. Just don’t flood the rest of the site with links. Same goes for PM advertising, it isn’t allowed.
Rules are subject to change.
