A new plot is starting up, taking place fifteen years after prior events. Peace and stability have finally returned to the Republic as its citizens celebrate the advancements in both technology and science, as well as the discovery of new planets, opening up trade for more goods and resources. Not everyone is pleased with the Republic's expansion however, causing some civilizations to feel threatened by colonization and losing their culture amidst the mass of other species now freely traveling to their planets.
The Jedi have encountered disputes among their own, and while they have continued to hold up the facade of a united front to the public, the internal strife grows worse. The shocking events involving Master Mala Oran's confessions and subsequent betrayal continues to haunt the consciences of many of the Jedi whom are outspoken about their feelings for stricter protocols. The most strident supporters of this call to change are Jedi masters Ivar Mirem and Guillaume Fornier, the implicit leaders of the uprising.
