Five years had passed since he had retired from the Jedi Order. Now this was the third time that Jedi Master Zane Jade had retired from the Order and it would be the last. He had retired because he did not agree with some of the decisions the Council were making or the direction the Jedi Order was going in. It was different to the one he had joined all those years ago when it was being ran by his cousin Saphira. Now days the Order was a puppet of the Senate and he wanted no part in it nor did his wife. Brianna was still with him she had decided not to run for a second term as Queen and was quite happy to be living a normal life as a farmers wife.

That was what Zane did nowdays he was a farmer and made a living to support his wife and children. Kia was five now and Jak was four, how the years had flew by. Zane had enjoyed being there every step of the way and the scars of his past had finally healed from Myrkr to Kia Larro's death he had finally gotten over everything and was enjoying his life. He still checked in with his godchildren every now and again but had been unable to reach Alyssa for some time now. However this didn't worry him as he knew they could all look after themselves, especially Alyssa.

Zane no longer wore the robes of a Jedi nor did he carry his lightsaber or use the force. He was living another life now and had no need for these things. Zane sat outside his house watching below as Brianna made dinner while the children played together it was a great sight. Zane looked out into the distance it was a nice sight compared to the towers on Courscant.

He gently rubbed his beard with his hand, all was well.
