Ruby stood in the middle of the expo and sighed. Everytime people would pass her they would stare. 'I know what they're thinking,' Ruby thought. 'They're thinking what a girl like me is doing here of all places. Don't I belong in a mall.' She sighed and then heard a few words she knew. Computer Jargon yes, but she'd taken that class for a reason. She listened and caught "CPU, jpeg, megabytes..." among other things. Someone here knew what they were talking about. Ruby looked around trying to find the source of that voice.

[Melvin Moore]

Melvin explained to a custumor how this little gadget worked with a happy dorky smile, trying his best to make the sale.

Ruby stood on her toes trying to see over the big desktop computer on display. Not being able to she walked around the table cursing her shortness. She glanced around the conrner to see a young man. The source of the voice. She watched as his glasses slid down his nose and gasped. 'If he loses those he'd probably up his cuteness 10 points.' she thought. She watched as he pushed them back up. 'Fat chance.' she thought. She kept hidden a little bit. She didn't want to be too obvious.

[Melvin Moore]

Melvin walked to te counter with his sucker of the day, and rung up the rather large order of precessors, hard drives, and wireless LAN. He broke the news of the cost to the happy cumtomer, and waited for then to finish writing a check.

He glanced up and noticed he was being watched. He thought the young lady need some help, and nodded to her as if to say...one more sec.

[Ruby Marshall]

Ruby knew she'd been spotted and emerged from hiding. She looked at the desktop that had blocked her view earlier. "Stupid desktop. Why couldn't you have been a notebook?" She frowned at it. "I oughta rip out your hard drive." she mumbled under her breath.

[Melvin Moore]

Melvin walked over to her as she spoke to the computer, "You know I'm glad I'm not the only one to sweet talk my computer into submission....Can I help you?"

[Ruby Marshall]

Ruby blushed as she turned to look at the guy. She noted his eyes were green, his hair reddish. She looked around. "Uh, actually I just wanted to see who else here knew thier stuff." Ruby said. She held out her hand. "Hi, I'm Ruby Marshall."

[Melvin Moore]

"Well you've come to the right place," He shook her hand, "Melvin Moore."

Ruby smiled and shook his hand. "Well when I heard you spitting out computer speak like it was second nature I knew I had to see you. I'm ever so glad I did." she motioned to the desktop again. "I guess this hulk is good for something then huh?" she joked.

[Melvin Moore]

He laughed and smiled not really noticing the flirt in all of it, "Can I take that from you it looks a little heavy." He offered to take the large hunk of metal out of her arms.

[Ruby Marshall]

"Are you sure you can manage it?" Ruby asked. "I'd hate it if I broke your arms." she bit her lip. 'God that sounded obvious.'

[Melvin Moore]

He nodded and smiled, "Yeah...I pull these things around all day."

[Ruby Marshall]

Ruby carefully handed the hunk to Melvin. "Thanks," she smiles.

He nodded and smiled pulling it to the counter, and looked up at her as he pulled a proper screw driver from under the counter, "So what's the problem with it?"

"It's a pain is the problem..." Ruby looked at Melvin. "Before you start I just wanna see..." she slowly reached up and took his glasses off. She smiled and carefully put them back on him. "Have you ever considered contacts?" she asked.
