Darbyville Academy
is a school unlike any other. You won't only find lessons in Math or Chemistry here; you'll also find a small community of outcasts, people born or raised with special powers or abilities, that set them apart from the rest of society. People who might be persecuted or humiliated because of their powers.

But in Darbyville Academy they can find a place of solace and learning, where they are taught to control their abilities and intergrate into society.

Of course, the school can't remain a total secret and some 'normal' people don't like the fact that thes students could be part of a 'super army' that could easily knock out any military force currently in operation. There have been attacks on the school, both physically and socially.

However, by and by, the students live happy and normal lives - as normal as they can. At Darbyville Academy it's not unlikely to encounter werewolves, wizards, angels and demons; hence the students nickname: Demon High.

We've decided to start up a Character of the Month thing. This month was the "staff's choice" and we chose . . . . Serenity, because she's been so active and friendly. When it comes to greeting people in the c-box and making others feel welcome, she sets a very good example, even though she hasn't been her all that long. Thanks for being such a great member Serenity.



In future months we are going to open up the Member of the Month for you guys to choose. You'll send your nominations in to a mod or an admin and we'll count 'em up. It will work like the end of the year award competitions, but when you send your nomination in, you should also add a reason as to why that member deserves to be Member of the Month.

Anyways, thats all for now. Congrats Serenity! ^^

Its a new month and guess what that means . . . . a new Member of the Month! Yay! Anyways, the nominations were sent in and this month's winner is . . . . MK!!!

MK was chosen as the Member of the Month for September because she's always active and coming up with great character ideas, and great story lines. She's a polite, friendly person OOC and upholds all of DH's rules. Plus, she's over all just a cool person.
