Darbyville Academy
is a school unlike any other. You won't only find lessons in Math or Chemistry here; you'll also find a small community of outcasts, people born or raised with special powers or abilities, that set them apart from the rest of society. People who might be persecuted or humiliated because of their powers.

But in Darbyville Academy they can find a place of solace and learning, where they are taught to control their abilities and intergrate into society.

Of course, the school can't remain a total secret and some 'normal' people don't like the fact that thes students could be part of a 'super army' that could easily knock out any military force currently in operation. There have been attacks on the school, both physically and socially.

However, by and by, the students live happy and normal lives - as normal as they can. At Darbyville Academy it's not unlikely to encounter werewolves, wizards, angels and demons; hence the students nickname: Demon High.

Hey everyone! So, I've been thinking. DH has been awesome for so many years, but I realize that the members of the board are getting older, and as such may want to play older characters. Conversely, some people might not want to play adults and teenagers, and would prefer to play children.

I want to have some input from you, the members, as to what step in our evolution should be. Please answer the poll and, if you feel the need to clarify your reasons, feel free to reply, especially if you answer "only two out of the three" because I want to know which two out of three you'd like to see.

EDITED TO ADD: I don't think this needs to be said, but I'm going to say it anyway. If you have more than one character, do the honest thing and ONLY VOTE ONCE. It's one vote per PERSON, not one vote per CHARACTER.

I'm saying orphanage cause we've tried the university before. Wouldn't be bad to try again but I also remember someone else creating Demon University long ago, not sure if it's still running or not.

I think changing it into something like a "Demon Youth Center",or "Mutant Training Facility" or "Darbyville Mutant Life Building" (Or something less....Stuffy sounding) would be interesting, and opens the board up for miles of new posts. There can still be classrooms that way, and room for more boards, and remove less boards that aren't being used, and many more people would be enticed to join and stay.

And just a note Damian, "Demon University" wasn't Amanda's doing, it was Renee and Itto's doing.

I voted college.

Even though most of my older characters are gone now it would be nice to know I can continue with my newer ones when they're too old to be high school students anymore.

That and I'm a college student in RL, so it would be easy to write about =P

A college not just for the necessity of evolution but we already have the ability to have kids at demon high. Its just not easy.
