Please register with your character�s first and last name. If your character does not have a last name, just register with their first name. Please make sure that your name is properly capitalized, e.g. �John Smith�, not �john smith�. If the registered first name is a nickname, please make a note in the application, e.g. Charles �Chuck� Vanderbilt III. If the registered name does not match the name in the application, the admins reserve the right to change it. IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER WITH A PROPER NAME, THE ADMINS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT. First secret word: Make. 2. Please register one account per character. 3. Please fill out the character application form and wait for approval before posting in the In Character forums. Don�t panic if an admin doesn�t get to your application right away; we�re all quite busy with our non-roleplaying lives (shocking, I know). We ask that you wait a minimum of three days after your application has been posted before contacting an admin asking them to look it over. 4. While characters may be loosely based on or inspired by already established characters, we would appreciate it if you would create your own original characters. If you blatantly plagiarize your characters, we will find out, and we will ban you. 5. Only take on as many characters as you can handle. That could mean one character, or that could mean a bazillion characters. Use your judgment, please. Second secret word: You. 6. This is an all-level RPG, which means that we have everything from beginners to advanced roleplayers. I would like all In-Character posts to be at least 100 words in length. For people who want a little bit of a challenge, you can apply to be an Advanced Roleplayer. A player with an advanced standing must write posts at least 400 words in length, with good grammar, spelling, punctuation and formatting. Please be aware that your warn level will be increased if you don't post the minimum length of your group. This warning can be reduced after three months if you incur no further infractions within those three months. 7. Please do not use chatspeak (�u� for �you� etc) in any forum, including the Out of Character forums. 8. Posts should be third person, past tense. Example: BAD: I sat on the edge of the pond and sighed sadly. BAD: She sits on the edge of the pond and sighs sadly. GOOD: She sat on the edge of the pond and sighed sadly. 9. No double posting in the In Character forums. It is not as frowned upon in the Out Of Character forums, but please avoid doing so at all costs. 10. Respect is huge here. I expect some level of respect towards me, my admin staff, and to each other. Please refrain from making sexist, racist, homophobic or any other �ist statements. If you are caught, please be aware that we will ban you. If you are being harassed by another member, do not hesitate to contact an admin or moderator about it. Third secret word: Work. 11. Godmodding is not allowed. Godmodding is when you have powers so great that you are invincible. I know this is a site for superpowered teenagers, but please make sure your character�s powers have some sort of flaw. 12. Powerplaying is also not allowed. Powerplaying is when you dictate the actions of another character that you do not play. If you play Mary Ellen, and you are roleplaying with Billy Bob, you can only control Mary Ellen�s actions. Powerplaying is very annoying and a bannable offence. If you suspect someone of powerplaying, please let an admin or moderator know.Fourth secret word: For. 13. Face Claims. When choosing a face claim for your character, please choose someone who at least looks approximately the age of your character. If you're going to use, for example, Tom Cruise, for a seventeen year old character, you might want to find a picture from his Top Gun days, not from his Mission Impossible days. 14. You must be at least 13 years old to register for this site. This is not only a site rule, but also international child protection legislation. I do not want the feds banging on my door because some underagers snuck in. I don't think you want that, either. So just... don't. Okay? CBox Rules 1. No flaming. 2. No flooding. 3. No advertising.
