Darbyville Academy
is a school unlike any other. You won't only find lessons in Math or Chemistry here; you'll also find a small community of outcasts, people born or raised with special powers or abilities, that set them apart from the rest of society. People who might be persecuted or humiliated because of their powers.

But in Darbyville Academy they can find a place of solace and learning, where they are taught to control their abilities and intergrate into society.

Of course, the school can't remain a total secret and some 'normal' people don't like the fact that thes students could be part of a 'super army' that could easily knock out any military force currently in operation. There have been attacks on the school, both physically and socially.

However, by and by, the students live happy and normal lives - as normal as they can. At Darbyville Academy it's not unlikely to encounter werewolves, wizards, angels and demons; hence the students nickname: Demon High.

Demon High is one of Invisionfree's more popular play by post school sites. We are a site dedicated to bringing everyone a unique place to roleplay in that's safe for everyone and suitable for all roleplayers from first time RPers to veteran 300 word roleplayers.

Demon High is unique in that it has very few limits in what character you can be. Darbyville Academy is a school for all sorts of creatures from meta-humans to aliens to centaurs etc. If it isn't normal then chances are that it will be accepted.

The types of characters that are/have registered here include (but are certainly not limited to):
  • Werewolves
  • Fish-Men
  • Demons
  • Angels
  • Aliens
  • Unknown creatures from another dimension
Like I said before, if it isn't normal then it fits in here. The only characters that aren't allowed in here are all powerful gods, demi-gods, creatures and characters that have been taken from TV shows like X-men, Charmed, Computer Games etc (for obvious reasons).

If your still not sure then take a look around the site and see what we get up to. If you've never roleplayed before then feel free to register and start here, lots of other people have started here and have improved their skills drastically with the help of other members from this site.

If your not sure how to make your character then ask for help from other members, who are keen on giving their expertice and advice to new members. If you have no-one to RP with then make an ad and watch as the pile of members who want to roleplay with you gets bigger and bigger.

We hope you choose to register with Demon High and we definatley hope you have fun. If not, then talk to an admin and tell them why you aren't having fun so they can help you.
