 something strange is going on at hogwarts, and things are changing
for the worse once again. it seems that magic is going wrong all over
the place. it can effect anyone - staff or students - at any time. there
is no pattern. it just happens. at random, whether it be for hours or
days, people's abilities seem to be changing. suddenly the kids that
are stars of the quidditch field are unstoppable. those that can't turn
a button into a beetle for toffee are struggling not to cause the
transfigurations classroom to implode. and those that were always
good at potions are suddenly brewing extremely advanced potions
like it was nothing. and this is all happening without warning. magic
related strengths go up, while weaknesses spiral down.
the thing is, no one knows why. some people are just ignoring it, or
don't believe that anything is wrong. but some are trying to work it
out. as term goes on, this magical anomoly seems to be getting worse
and worse. with no way to stop it, some are becoming increasingly
worried. and through it all one thing's known for sure. this is not the end.
