Been wondering...why are Wynut and Tangrowth OU...I've never...ever seen them in a battle. I bet they're good..but I've never seen them used.

Wynaut is the lesser form of the UBERW1NNAGE that is Wobbufett, and... I dunno about Tangrowth.

absol in my opinion is OU now. Every other fight im in someone has a crithax absol

Just because it's used a lot does not make it OU. I see a Gallade more than Tangrowth or Donphan, but they easily place higher than the others. It's about how they're used in the standard metagame, not how often you see them.

Concur'd Tangrowth is good. Absol is good too, just not quite super good I like to think of OU pokes as pokemon that you build your team around...and Absol just isn't quite ready to build a team around. Most people have Wynaut as uber, (Frankly I don't think anyone has ever seen one) but we figured since it's stats are just THAT bad, it prolly isn't going to be much of a threat, just an annoyance. -------------------- |

I've always tooken OverUsed a bit literal. If I didn't have a list I would guess Overused were things that you see the most.
I've always like Absol, course, what's stops things like Absol from being OU is stats or movepool really =P. What I find odd is there's moments when my BL pokes out do my OU pokes. My Typhlosion is very good, like my Ace in the Hole at times, the next battle I host on Youtube you'll see Typhlosion take down 3 pokes one after the other in a match with the Ex-Champ/Now Gym Leader of my league =P -------------------- |

Stats mainly. Subpar speed, defences, and HP = OHKO. If Absol goes first, then it can usually take out the opponent with all that critical and that massive Attack stat, but... -------------------- |

Exactly. That stuff happens sometimes. Thats why you see LOTS of BL usage, and even some UU usage in the "ou" metagame. They are still very good and very usable pokemon. No one poke will be the best in all sitations. Plus, your Typholsion is scarfed is it not? That helps. -------------------- |
