Hmmm. Alright, I'm not all that great at the whole RMT thing, but I'll give my personal opinions on it.
First off, I know you said something about the EVs, but it's hard to make a decision on any one of these Pokemon if their EVs aren't what you have them for. Still, I'll try. :-) Azelf: Same as always. Good enough; because that's about all Azelf has. I like Azelf a lot, but my only problem with it is that it doesn't learn Ice Beam, so countering Dragons effectively gets somewhat annoying, because they tend to stick around even after a Psychic hit. If I used an Azelf, this would probably be its moveset. Raikou: Props for using Raikou. Raikou doesn't get used that often, which is sad because I like it a lot. Anyway, about this one: I can't decide if I would use Petaya/Salac Berries, or the Lefties you have on. Though, I guess this is the only Pokemon you have who has anything outside of immeadiate sweeping priorities, so I guess Lefties is your best option. 'Mence: Personally, I don't get around the metagame all that much, so seeing a OUTRAEGOUS Mence is kinda nice. Is Mence solid enough to DDance on anything except a switch? I guess a majority of walls wouldn't be able to KO him, but... I don't like stat-uppers to begin with, so my opinion is somewhat moot on the matter. Infernape: Yeah, he's fine for what you want to counter with him. I prefer Charizard over Infernape, so again, I can't say too much. Swampert: Meh, all right. He can't do much against dragon types, and if all the EVs go into Hp and SDef, he won't be hitting a ton of damage on all that much. Swampert is probably your weakest link, but this is all opinion. I'd probably use the following EV set-up for the 'Pert you have: Careful l 252 Hp, 136 SDef, 120 Atk (2) Something like that. Though, now that I look at it maybe a little more SDef and a little less Atk... >_> Oh, and give this bad boy a Focus Sash once in a while to get the KO on anything that the rest of your Pokemon can't deal with. :-P Metagross: The only thing that I don't like about Metagross being a defensive wall is that he's somwhat lacking the Hp department. If he had a bit more Hp he'd be more efficient, but he can be taken down quickly by a non-STAB Earthquake if you aren't careful. Weaviles will switch out on him, so I'd take the Pursuit route over BP for Gengars, Starmies, Dusknoirs, and the Porygon Z's. All of these Pokemon should run from him, so if you don't kill them you can probably get a nice on them anyway. Though, P-P-PRIORITY is a nice thing to have. Overall: I feel like your team is missing a solid wall to keep yourself from being run over by a sweeper or two, but I suppose that the metagame has changed a lot from when I used to lose in it all the time. Hope I was of some help; or at least made you second-guess yourself. :-) -------------------- |
