DCYPC Open Evening

In the hope of attracting new members, DCYPC will be holding an open evening on Tuesday 12th October between 6 and 8pm. The evening will begin with a simple introductory chat, and will be followed by a few ice breakers to help get us talking to each other.

We will then explain briefly what DCYPC is, as well as example some of the things we have done in the past. Later there will be pizzas as well as a chance to join DCYPC if you've decided you like it and are interested. Bus fares will be paid, as long as you keep your tickets for us, so it should end up costing you nothing but a couple of hours of your time. Not a bad price to pay for pizza, a few games, and the opportunity to find out about our organisation.

The open evening went quite well I think. We got 2 or 3 new members (one of which is canny nice actually ), and the night in general seemed to be enjoyed by both the workers and members and the young people who came along.

We played a few games, most of which I took part in , although some I was unable to care enough about to join in, and spent the time catching up on me sleep

There was also a reunion, Julie, Tinning, Chris and myself being reunited with someone who went to our old primary school, who we haven't seen for years, which was cool. None of us knew the other lass lol
