DR is damage reduction. It lessens the damage by physical attributes. Usually like a cushioning effect? When a saiyan goes SSJ, they emit energy that I think would cause some resistance to anything that hits the saiyan, like slowing down a punch with the mere energy from the power up.

So what's your storyline? Are you thinking more along the lines of a budokai? or an epic kind of saga?

well more like a budokai for fun between the team and a way to battle that way no one can say one thing isn't fair and such like that.
