Hey guys. I need to know what printer I should get to print out the comic. It will be all B/W in final. I wanna know price wise and ink wise? And as for lasers, I heard that you can print out ALOT of pages without changing the cartridge but that the cartridge costs alot? How long time wise does a cartridge lasts? There's a certain amount of time for inkjets on the cartidge as to : ' use it before then of it'll dry'. Is it the same with laser? Arg, I'm so full of questions...

that all depends on the amount of ink used on each page. black doesn't cost as much as color cartidges but in all sanity it is easier to go to a kinko's or other commercial print place and get it all done at a higher quality print than a home printer. believe me, my poor lil printer/scanner hates me fro the abuse I put it through

XD lol, poor printer. I don't wanna print the final version with the printer, but i wanna see if everything's alright before taking it to the printshop by printing at least 1 copy here.

It should be fine on a normal printer w/o any real specifics if all you wanna do is test the comic.

Brion Foulk and Jen Brazas print their books through somebody where its $4 a book for I think 200 pages... only drawback is you have to order 1000 books minimum so you end up spending $4,000 to print them T__T

Money is an issue...

Yeah, Brion told me that at the con. It's kinda crazy to order 1000 books. He is so talented but yet it's taking forever to sale his book. So I wont get into that. I found alittle printer on the web that asks 40$ for the first book and then you buy as many you want. The prices goes from 3$ to 30$/book. It depends of the cover, the pages, the size, the colors and on and on.

That sounds great! We can do a test run when we feel like we have enough pages.

What's the printer? Do they have a website?
