My Black Templars, A gradual progression into fanaticisim

Here is a few shots of the painted BT that I have completed so far. I have redone this list to give it more of a Templar feel. So I will post my progression as I complete units.

Nice looking army big G, buts what's up with the red and blue lights on the predators- are they the police?

Never thought of that. That's how the previous owner had them, so I just carried it on.

It's mostly glued up mate, just sponsons and melta gunner to go. I resisted the urge to make the flamers and bolter weapons interchangeable. I figured I would just buy another Land raider kit for when (if) the BT can take a Redeemer.

Huh? are your Black Templar so short of supplies that they need to pinch tanks off the Arbites?

on a serious note; nice paint job. How do you write on your tanks so neatly?

Cheers Ethereal. I use an artline 0.1 drawing pen. I'm absolute crap with a brush.

Here is the next lot of BT I want to paint. This is the difference between my last Tournament list when I take out three preds and a rhino. Hopefully I can get a game in tomorrow, but that depends on a couple of things.



I will start on the LRC as soon as I can. There is a doubles tournament later in the year and I want to take a dual LRC with Initiates list to accompany my mates Ravenwing.

What sort of time limit are you putting on getting that lot painted?

Not too sure. There is bugger all there to paint. Maybe at the end of July?

End of July, come on big guy you can do better than that.

Yeah, but to be fair mate historically July is my busiest month of the year. And then there is all that other stuff I have on........

I couldn't find a DA torso without the icons, so opted for a death company one instead. I'll add the rest of the arms, backpack etc when I am happy with the torso. At the mo I'm still not 100% sold on the BA torso. The head and legs aren't glued together.
