You're Thoughts On "echoes", go on tell me the truth

I have started a story on the fan fiction board, entitled "Echoes" This is a story I have worked and struggled with for a few years now. So as the story progresses, I would like to read your reactions.

Well here's the thread to put you're opinions, good, bad or indifferent I will take no offence (or prisoners) lol.

There is nothing wrong with what you have done so far and you have made me interested in the rest of the story with the begining so that shows it is good dosent it?

The next 2 or 3 parts will be added tonight. I'm editing and rewriting as I go, from roughs I've been scribbling down for a while now.

Jamie, I've just read your story. It's intriguing. I have a question though, are you writing this as fanfic/short story or as a work of fiction?

uhmmm, all of the above. No none of the above, oh I don't know how it'll end up. It could well end up the size of the Oxford English Dictionary. I still don't know. I'm editing as I go. The original version of what you've read was about 10 A4 pages (single sided). So honestly i don't know yet which category it'll fall into when it's finished. But it is definitely fiction, by a fan, (so it's fanfic) But it's also a unique standalone story (unique? I hope lol) So I cannot categorise it just yet.

ah okay. Fanfic is new to me, I'm never sure what the writer is trying to do. Write it as a script, or as pure fiction.

Oh it's pure fiction, to the core. I couldn't write a script. As you may have noticed I'm a bit (over) descriptive in my storytelling

Funny you should say that Jamie, I was thinking it possibly needed fleshing out in places. Only because, the momentum is lost between chapters (I'm guessing, I'm making absolutely no sense, so feel free to ignore that last comment)

Oh there are a few more faces ready in the wings, but the unit crew are going to be busy in the next part. Very busy. Very very busy (what does earth have an invade us sticker on it's forehead???)

Although I could possibly agree with Persephone that some of the chapters are a little short, I still think they are well written and done in a way that makes you eager to get to the next part.
