One of these days I'm going to have to watch that Downfall film for real. I've seen so many different uses for this scene. laugh.gif

I watched the last 2 eps in a row so will do my best not to get anything confused between them.

Was really, massively shocked by the ending, just couldn't believe it. I kept waiting for something to happen to save him. I was waiting for Arya to leap up on stage, gut Joffrey and save the day, and for everyone to live happily ever after laugh.gif The final moments literally had me screaming at the screen and clutching my teddy bear for emotional support. Ahem. blushing.gif Joffrey needs to die in the most painful and humiliating way possible.

It doesn't put me off the show though, as some of the links on here seem to suggest blink.gif I'm sad, but it's a pretty bold move to kill off your main character. And poor Ned betraying his principles and getting killed anyway crying.gif That was the saddest part. Though I guess if he'd not confessed Sansa would be in trouble.

I found most of Tyrion's scenes both touching and funny - the drinking game was particularly good. And "stay low" lmaosmiley.gif

Didn't mind at all not seeing the battles, but I tend to find battle scenes a bit dull. Just seeing the aftermath worked quite well for me.

Filch! But where was Mrs Norris? ponder.gif

Thought the ending was really well done. crying.gif With all the gore in previous eps, I assumed they`d show the whole icky mess, but chose instead to focus on poor Arya. thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Boo at Joffrey - I got the sense that he`d really slipped out of his Mother`s control, rather than this being a plot between them ? unsure.gif

Can`t remember any names, so eek at bloke at the wall turning out to be one of the Throne`s heirs. ohmy.gif
