Sookie learns what she is but doesn't seem impressed when she finally learns the truth. She also learns why first the vampire Queen of Louisana and now the vampire King of Mississippi are so keen on finding her. Her main preoccupation continues to be the impending attack by Russell, now labeled a vampire terrorist after his attack on live television. She proves to be as stubborn as ever, however. Sam Merlotte tries to set everyone at ease after his outburst at the bar the previous evening but he recalls an event from his past that still haunts him. Hoyt tries to reconcile with Jessica who remains convinced that he is too good for her. Tara is still shaken by her kidnapping and assault while Arlene decides to try and do something about her pregnancy.

Ooh, Jason`s girlfriend`s a panther... Hurray that Jessica and Hoyt - a love story for our time - are back together. Probably.

Ditto for Jessica and Hoyt Did Tommy kind of help set that up with his attack on Hoyt or was I imagining it? He just seemed to have a moment. Don't like Sam's flashbacks, they just seemed so wrong.

So not only is Jason's girlfriend completely boring, annoying and lacking in any chemistry with him, but she annoys me even further by being yet another supernatural person/thing. I feel like it's getting a bit silly. At this rate there'll be no one normal left in Bon Temps.

The Sam flashbacks have come completely out of nowhere and just seem a pointless way to create a bit of angst. There are other reasons for him to have a breakdown - like the fact that he's a got a pain in the arse brother to look after, a crappy family, all his friends are in danger/constant trouble etc. So the flashback to me just felt unnecessary and a waste of screentime. Although, side note, I was totally reminded of the Sawyer scamming people flashbacks in Lost. He even had the greasy slicked back hair!

Overall not that impressed. But salvaged by Jessica and Hoyt. Yay!

Yeah I'm quite annoyed they've just decided to reveal Sam to have been a murderer

Its a nonsense and they've just trashed his character.

I was also reminded of the Sawyer flashbacks in Lost.
