THR: Dollhouse ratings drop back down. "Dollhouse (2.1 million, 0.8) was down 20% in the demo from its last episode two weeks ago."

My thoughts on Belonging Spoilers highlight to read!
Simply outstanding the best and most chilling episode yet! Wow what an opening sequence see Priya’s journey from fun and friendly artist to Nolan’s favour active in minutes. The party scene is interesting Nolan has it filled with actives all imprinted to tell her how wonderful he is and that isn’t creepy enough Sierra’s only friends Echo and Victor her are made to help. It underlines just influence Nolan has as Mathew Harding is running the show. There was I spark between Priya and Victor long before she joined the Dollhouse it also took two seconds to go off mission and trying to leave with her. It’s a strong bond between them which is gets even stronger as the episode. Echo is growing more aware each week she is good at reading people as she convinces Topher to look again at Sierra’s past. It made think back to the end of “Omega” when after be wiped she turns to a troubled Topher touches him on chest sensing there was good in him. Echo isn’t even hiding how fast she learning spending her time reading and writing even on the inside of her pod. Boyd is worried that Echo could get hurt is she slow down. Echo makes clear that not an option because “the storm” is coming. I wonder just how many of Rossum secrets Caroline had learnt before she became Echo? I’m betting Echo knows what the storm is but will she be able remember in time to stop it. I think Echo know Boyd is on her side and it looks as though she’ll need her former handlers help if she wants to avoid Rossum having her sent to the Attic. Matthew Harding vs. Adele Dewitt was interesting until now I thought Dewitt was running the Dollhouse but it seems it was a punishment for her” intercessions”. It seems that Dewitt and most staff seem at odds with Rossum’s plans indeed Dewitt and Topher are evolving almost as fast as Echo. Well with Keith Carradine joining the cast Boyd and Topher pull off a cleanup that Dexter Morgan would be proud of I think Joss must be a fan. The final scene is really interesting while Victor and Sierra sleep in each other arms Echo is preparing for the storm! This is a fantastic episode and what I’ve written just doesn’t do it justice! |

when you think nothing can top a fantastic episode, (1.13) joss prove us wrong (once again), the story of Priya/Sierra from fun and friendly artist to sex slave for Nolan, someone who will stop at nothing to keep her as she is, using every knowledge of dollhouse to get what he want. we saw an other side of the dollhouse team, trying to resolve the problems but when everything failed (an interesting talk between Adelle and Matthew, showing an other side of the Dollhouse management  ), Adelle tasks Topher to deal with it the best way he can knowing he is amoral enough to do the job, the result being Prya being imprinted with her own personality, what did Topher think was going to happen? we saw what happened when she talked to Nolan in Needs and how he acted around her so even if it was shocking, there was no real surprise when she killed him. still Topher showed an other side of himself and before he face the consequences of his actions, he wipes Prya once again and let Sierra go back to her "innocent" life (which is back to Victor)Not so much of Echo in this episode but we learned enough to know that she is aware that a storm is coming and she keep note of what she know (afraid of being wipe again). |

Sadly, I have a feeling that excellent episodes like this one won't save Dollhouse.
I shall have to wait the S2 DVDs. |
