I have to admit that I was thinking of giving up about 10 minutes in, but decided to Percy Vere.
I can see the Priest character having "vows issues" with the blonde lady. |

I hear the order of ABC's sophomore sci-fi drama V is being reduced from 13 to 10 episodes. ABC last week announced that V will return January 4 and will air in Dancing with the Stars' result show slot at 9 PM on Tuesdays, following fellow sci-fi drama No Ordinary Family. That gives V a 12-episode window until the spring season premiere of Dancing on March 29, but I hear the period is expected to include 2 preemptions, leading to V's order getting trimmed. Since the series is still filming, V producers will adjust the storyline for a proper season ending. |

ABC's V returned, giving us a look at what the Visitors looked like under their skin. Anna showed off her scary, pointy tail and Jane Badler teased us the end of the episode,. Well, those of us who bothered to watch, that is.
V's season two premiere on Tuesday drew 6.5 million total viewers, and averaged 2.1/5 for adults 18-49. That was 60 percent lower than when V first premiered, and about the same numbers as season one's finale last May, according to tvbythenumbers.com. However, ABC released a press release which spun the premiere as a ratings win, especially when it comes to "posting substantial growth as time-shifted viewing." Last season viewers jumped by about 1.8 million viewers when it came to time-shifted viewing. ABC also noted that V "built substantially on its lead-in to stand as the No. 1 TV series of the night in Men 18-49 (2.3/6) and Men 25-54 (3.0/7)." While all this number-spinning will give you a headache, ABC has to be disappointed that V didn't come closer to its original premiere numbers, especially considering all the hype surrounding its season two return. V's short second season is only 10 episodes long, so the series isn't going to have long to make its case to the viewers before ABC makes decisions about its future. (Blastr) |

Two or 3 characters to be killed off at the end of S2.
Highlight to read DS article. The executive producer of V has revealed that several main characters will be killed off in the second season finale. Scott Rosenbaum told TV Guide that two or "possibly even three" series regulars will not return to the ABC series if it is renewed for a third run. He explained that the departure of certain actors was related to "what would be most devastating for the characters [he wanted] to continue". "People are going to be shocked," added series star Laura Vandervoort. "When we read the script there was initially shock, then sadness. [It's like] seeing your son go off to college or [your] grandma passing." Rosenbaum confirmed that Elisabeth Mitchell (Erica Evans) and Morena Baccarin (Anna) will return to the series, leaving Vandervoort (Lisa), Scott Wolf (Chad), Logan Huffman (Tyler), Morris Chestnut (Ryan), Joel Gretsch (Father Jack) and Jane Badler (Diana) as potential candidates for the axe. V continues on Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC. The second season will conclude on March 15. |
