Going to get some getting used to I think, not sure I like the grey washed out treatment.

Hated the theme tune.

The case was really creepy though

The photography changes at around episode 10 to a brighter, more colorful scheme.

Yes.

I remember that one being quite disturbing. In fact, I remember thinking that it was probably one of the most disturbing stories any of the CSIs had done to that point.

The lighting does take some getting used to, but as John's pointed out already, it does change later on. I've come to like the show. I'm not a massive fan of the original, I've never quite liked the characters as much, so New York for me sits somewhere inbetween Miami and Las Vegas.

Watched this this afternoon - not bad but too samey to the others. I can't be arsed to watch 3 flavours so will probably just watch Miami.

Pretty much the same, but I like Gary Sinise so I'll probably watch a few more and see how it goes smile.gif

IMO I don't think it's as good as either of the other 2 CSI's but it might just be cos I don't 'know' any of the characters yet. I liked that the case was much darker than the others but I always prefer it when the team covers more than one case at a time.

I watched last night's which was the first I've seen. It was pretty good (and it was interesting to see a former LA Law babe looking somewhat larger than she did in her younger days!! wink.gif ). Neil's point about '3 flavours' is well made. I'll probably 'pick 'n mix' between the three.

Call me shallow but I see it as:

Emily Proctor > Sarah Jessica Parker wannabe > LV women

I know I'm a freak but I also much prefer Horatio.
