At the end of this season, I'm gonna have to go back and see how many episodes I gave high marks too. This one is another one.
Again, ignoring my admonishment about personally involving the regulars, having Rossi suffer guilt over the young woman had not only logic working for it, but some good writing and performances, especially by Bess Armstrong as the mother (haven't seen her in years). The writer of this episode, Oanh Ly, nicely interlaced the emotional thread with the procedural and just enuf of the unsub at work to move the story forward. |

A very strong ep.
I don`t think we`ve seen one of the team involved with the victim before, and that, together with the unusual storyline ( the unsub copies various serial killers ) , made for an enthralling episode for me. Kudos to Johnny Lewis who played the unsub brilliantly - turns out he works quite a bit, though I think this is the first time I`ve seen him. Yikes to the big twist, when Shannon Woodward turns out to be the girlfriend rather than the next victim. Interesting that both the profiler and the killer were reading all of Rossi`s books. |
