Hurray ! I saw 1 x 01 last night and rather liked it.

I`m not that interested in Rebecca Romijn`s character, but the other two ( the nurse and the journalist ) are great fun.

Nice shout-out to the film that they had Veronica Cartwright back for a cameo - I assume that Darryl bumped her off at the end when he went to visit her at the hospital ?

Great to see Paul Gross again, though I fear his acting`s too good for this role.

I assume they`re leaving him as a Canadian devil, after the way he pronounced `out`. Which made me think, what would a Canadian devil be like ? I can`t think of him doing anything more dastardly than leaving the lid off the peanut butter jar.
