SCC can't be accused of hyperkinetic plotting. The stories seems to move at slower speeds than most other shows. This episode might even slower than that. That's cuz it was framed at the funerals of the many dead workers of the plant that was blown up. Our heroes mingled with the townsfolk and slowly uncovered something. I thought the uncovering was better than the revelation.
Happy news: Riley wasn't seen in this ep. Instead, John sparks a conversation with a teenager who is 10 times more interesting -- thanks to the script and to the young actress Alanna Masterson. |

Shirley Manson`s performance is starting to grow on me now; I`m not finding it so wooden/metallic anymore.
Nice scene with her `daughter` - quite chilling, plus I can`t decide whose side she`s on now. Cameron hasn`t beaten anyone up in ages - boo ! |
