Fracking superb episode

I thought this asked some very difficult questions of me as a viewer, as in who did I sympathise with - if anyone - and was I right to do so?

The opening, with Jammer, was very difficult to watch. I liked the way it toyed with you, making you think that Tyrol might save him because he saved Cally, but no :o

Once the story turned its attention to Gaeta it became slightly more predictable (mainly because the recap at the start made a point of showing the dog's food bowl etc) but nonetheless hard to watch, especially from Tyrol, Tigh and Kara's point of view. I thought the latter's willingness to join The Circle was perfectly in keeping with the character.

Well done to the writers for not pulling their punches, possibly the best episode of the season so far

Am I the only one who's watched this?

Nope, I've watched it too

This is easily the best season so far, I was a bit worried with how season 2 ended that it would drag on to long before the rescue etc, but the writing has been suberb so far, very gripping and a bit close to the knuckle at times as well. I'm not sure if they were trying to make a social comment on the occupation in Iraq, that's how I'm taking it anyway.

Unmissable at the moment, and loved this ep, and yeah Steve, I know exactly what you mean, unsure on who you're sympathising with and why. You can't knock TV that makes you question how you think.

"fracking awesome" :whistling:

I think you'll find that phrase refers to Metallica's Fade To Black :snooty:

This episode, on the other hand, was fracking superb

Totally agree on the Iraq angle ;)

I watched it last weekend, but as you say, I found it very disturbing viewing

Glad that Gaeta survived though

Watched this one last night. Pretty much what everyone else said, great episode

The way in which Jammer helped Cally escaped, I'd always thought that would get him out of it when things finally caught up with him.

I'd agree with you Steve as well in that by the time Gaeta popped up it was fairly obvious what would happen, but even so, the impact was hardly diminished. Some fantastic scenes and probably Alessandro Juliani's best work on the show

It was hard to watch in places, constantly challenging our values, with people posthumously tried and convicted on the flimsiest of evidence. One minute they cling to having to have a sixth voice, the next they stack the deck with another person with an axe to grind.
