Adama is still in surgery. And the Kobol gang are searching for a way out of their present situation when they discover the Cylons have built an anti-aircraft weapon, designed to destroy the rescue craft that is sure to follow. Crashdown must lead the group on a raid to destroy the weapon before their rescue can arrive. Back on Galactica all hell is breaking loose. President Roslin is in withdrawl from her medication, and Colonel Tigh is going head to head with the Quorum of Twelve. Fed up with their interfearance he declares marshall law.

This one's really beginning to ramp up the tension between the political and military factions superbly. Loved Tigh's reaction in his chambers when Dee contacts him about the Quorum's demands;

Well how about you tell them they can shove their demands up their ass ??
:lol: You do get the distinct impression that it's all going to backfire next week though. Great to see Richard Hatch back as well :thumbsup: What with Adama down and Baltar and Roslyn out of the picture he sees an opportunity for himself.

I'm liking the route this season's taking already. The whole political/military stories something that B5 proved can be fascinating stuff and it could be in for an even closer examination here on Galactica.

No Caprica scenes this week :(

Loving the Kobol story as well, taking a deadly turn this week, but moving closer to it's resolution you feel.

Certainly looks like The Government vs The Military is going to be the major theme of this season.

Rarely makes for an uninteresting story that one :thumbsup:

Just remembered something else I liked in this episode that shows that the they can laugh at themselves - where Cally and the Chief laugh at just how stupid mutha-fracker sounds as a swearword. :lol:

I think that was this ep anyway :unsure:

Pretty sure you're right on that one Paul :)

Superb episode, full of tension and twists. Loved the scenes on Kobol, the chase back to the dish was brilliant :thumbsup:

Also loved the look on Tigh's face after Roslin had said her bit to the Quorum. His words to Adama ("I really fracked things up for you" oslt) were very apt. Like you guys say, there are going to be far reaching implications after that final scene I think :thumbsup:

I'm delighted they accelerated at least one of the scenarios and that we got to see a lot more of Baltar this ep. James Callis was brilliant as always :thumbsup:

The way that soldier behaved - leads me to believe that there will be an underground movement within the armed forces that is pro-President.

I for one am completely with the declaration of martial law, it was the right thing to do. The President has undermined the safety of the fleet with her instructions.

i know she believes she's doing the right thing but how can she not value the safety of the fleet?
