If so, what song was it? And why? (If you really feel like talking about it..)
Only one song's ever made me cry. Dare You To Move by Switchfoot...I think only a few people know who FireDragon00001 is on here, but it was July when she moved off to PA. If you know the lyrics, you'll figure out why it probably made me cry. So, now, you talk. I'll listen. ^_^ -------------------- |

Hmm, actually, several songs have made me cry. But most of the time it is because of the mood I'm in. But one song just made me cry because it is such a nice song, and I'm too damn sensitive. It's "Believe" by Yellowcard, any who know that song may know what I'm talking about, although I'm probably the only one who cried the first time I heard it. But...I'm one of those people who cried when Mufasa died, when Bambi's mother died, when E.T. 'died', or practically anytime a good character dies a heroic death (anyone see Troy? I was bawling like a baby at one scene). So eh, why should a song be any different?

Quite a lot of songs have made me cry, though, like Heart of Chaos, it had a lot to do with my mood.
"Concrete Angel" - Martina McBride. This song is so sad... the MV is even sadder. "Dreams" - Kenny Chesney. x.x uber good song... "She's In Love" - Mark Wills "The Other Little Soldier" - Josh Gracin "Don't Laugh At Me" - Mark Wills "Wish You Were Here" - Mark Wills "I Lost It" - Kenny Chesney "My Immortal" - Evanescence. such a pretty song... "What If She's An Angel" - Tommy Shane Steiner. one of my favs. "He's My Son" - Mark Schultz. I was only intodruced to this song a couple days ago. How pathetic. right? And of course about a million others... whatever. Mostly had to do with my mood. Stupid moods, who put those there? e.e -------------------- |

Yes, it's some song in spanish, but I can't remember it's name or who sings it. Sometimes I get teary eyed when I sing a particular song for the choir, can't remember the name of that song neither, but it's the song I sang with my mom to my great-grandfather when he died...
*ahem* But the song that gets to me sometimes is Lucia's theme from Lunar 2: EBC, memorized it and all, I sing it all the time. But it also depends on my mood... -------------------- ![]() |

Mmm.. quite a few.
*"My Prayer" by BoA... an excerpt from the translations that made me cry: I pray like this to get over you It's not that I don't like you anymore I'm doing this because this pain might never end It's alright... Even if you leave, even if you meet new people If my heart crumbles, please give me a new one This is my prayer *"Praying For You" from Love Letter (A Korean Drama)... I never saw the translations for it.. but it had this feeling to it that made me think of someone and I burst into tears *"Because I'm A Girl" by Kiss... not only was it a depressing music video, but it was a sad song. It kept repeating "Although I'll yell at you, I will always miss you. Because I'm a girl, whom love is everything." The music video is basically a girl and a guy who meet and fall in love and the guy puts some kind of acid type thing on a shelf and forgets to cap it and when she reaches up to get it, it falls on her and she can't use her eyes anymore.. so the guy feels like it's all his fault so he gives up his eyes. She lives on missing him for awhile until she found out he was at this race track or something and she goes to see him and doesn't know that it was him who gave her eyes and so he's just sitting right in front of her not knowing it was her and she just cries and doesn't say anything. T-T It's sad... I cry in a lot of songs.. a lot more than this... mainly because the mood makes me think of someone and I begin to cry so much. These are the songs that still make me cry, though. I listen to them and sing them everyday. -------------------- |

BoA is most possibly the best unheard of (at least here in Portage) band I've ever heard. Anyone heard Duvet( just kidding, if you've heard of BoA, you know this song) I was first introduced to BoA by Lain (obviously) and I'd probably say that it made me cry, not so much as the ending to Serial Experiments Lain, but I think it did, I forget. It won't now, so I can't try it now. Although it might, I am getting over a friend of mine dying this morning as a result of a car crash last night, so it may, oh well, let's just assume it did. Oh yeah, two songs with the word Heaven in their title have made me cry. Tears in heaven, and I can't remember the name of the other one.

because I don't cry when listening to music? Not like there is much other way to explain it. Music is music. I don't feel emotion behind it. Music is background noise. -------------------- ![]() ![]() Yeah. |

Hmmm. Well the first sing to ever make me cry was The Christmas Shoes by NewSong...
It was almost Christmas time, there I stood in another line Tryin' to buy that last gift or two, not really in the Christmas mood Standing right in front of me was a little boy waiting anxiously Pacing 'round like little boys do And in his hands he held a pair of shoes His clothes were worn and old, he was dirty from head to toe And when it came his time to pay I couldn't believe what I heard him say Chorus: Sir, I want to buy these shoes for my Mama, please It's Christmas Eve and these shoes are just her size Could you hurry, sir, Daddy says there's not much time You see she's been sick for quite a while And I know these shoes would make her smile And I want her to look beautiful if Mama meets Jesus tonight He counted pennies for what seemed like years Then the cashier said, "Son, there's not enough here" He searched his pockets frantically Then he turned and he looked at me He said Mama made Christmas good at our house Though most years she just did without Tell me Sir, what am I going to do, Somehow I've got to buy her these Christmas shoes So I laid the money down, I just had to help him out I'll never forget the look on his face when he said Mama's gonna look so great Sir, I want to buy these shoes for my Mama, please It's Christmas Eve and these shoes are just her size Could you hurry, sir, Daddy says there's not much time You see she's been sick for quite a while And I know these shoes would make her smile And I want her to look beautiful if Mama meets Jesus tonight Bridge: I knew I'd caught a glimpse of heaven's love As he thanked me and ran out I knew that God had sent that little boy To remind me just what Christmas is all about Repeat Chorus It doesnt really sound sad when you read thte lyrics by the music along with it will make you cry. -------------------- |

No song has actually made me cry. Like Chaos said, the only reason I'd cry is because of the mood I'm in. Other than that, no, I've never cried to a song.

The only song that made me cry once or 3 million times was "Im Already There" by Lonestar....the reason it made me cry was because it reminded me of my dad so much. My parents are divorced and we live in FL and he lives in Puerto Rico and I only get to see him once a year!
