Heres some sigs I've made over the past few months. I haven't been doing this that long compared to others.
I think these are in chronological order. (Oh, these aren't ALL my sigs, if they were...well it would be a lot. It's not a stupid question at all!
I didn't know how to make them at some point, everyone eventually learns. So anywho! To answer your question, yes making sigs, banners, or any other type of graphics on the computer requires a program. Usually people use Adobe Photoshop, but there are other programs that also allow you to alter images as well as enhance them. It's not hard at all! You just have to experiment as much as you can. ^__^ By the way everyone, all of the sigs are great! --------------------  |

You can always download a trial, but those usually last a month.
The other option is buying the actual programs... but they cost a lot of moolah. ^ ^;; -------------------- |
