When Elena Gilbert wrote those words, she thought she was acting crazy. Little did she know exactly how right that premonition was, and how her first day back at Mystic Falls High School would change her life forever, and ever. With the return of the mysterious Salvatore brothers, Elena is finding that her life is being turned upside down. She has to decide who she wants, and what path she will take. It is an impossible choice, both sides of the forbidden apple tempting her. But it�s not just Elena that is feeling the effects of the return of the brothers to Mystic Falls. Strange deaths, unexplained disappearances and weird happenings are plaguing the small town. Bodies drained of blood and animal attacks are on the rise. Most of the stories of the old world were gone, wiped from the mouths of the dead. The tales of the vampires that threatened Mystical Falls were turned into scary stories to be told before bed to the children. No one believes in the existence of the damned anymore, no one but those with the Gift. The Witches have remained in secret, passing their powers through the generations. With the power, came great responsibility. They knew of the vampires of Mystic Falls, but have kept the fact to themselves. Only a few, select members of the human townsfolk remembers the old stories of Mystic Falls, and only they know of the real reason that the town is being terrorized. The vampires are returning, and with them is the knowledge that nothing will ever be the same again. Enter the world of the Vampire Diaries, where two brothers frozen in time will change the course of history for all eternity, and one girl stands between them. Where the stories of the past are real and the lines between reality and dream are blurred. Old acquaintances are making their return to the old town, and new faces are showing their true natures. Trust is a commodity, and the net is closing in to reveal the identity of the traitors. It�s not only the living that has secrets to tell. How far would you go to save the one you love, and how far would you allow them to go in return? How do you decide between good and evil, when both are concealed from you? The question is; who is craving who? Craving Darkness starts at the very end of the Vampire Diaries Season One. Everything that happened in the show happened here, and all the characters affected have been changed forever. Isobel has been and gone, Damon has been shown to have feelings for Elena and Stefan has become jealous of their unique relationship. Katherine has just returned, pretending to be Elena before kissing Damon and then killing John Gilbert. The Lockwoods appear to be holding a secret of their own, with Tyler and his father reacting badly to �the device�. It seems that it�s not just vampires that stalk the streets of Mystic Falls. From now on, you make the stories. This site is based on the vampire diaries, but almost anything goes. As we don�t know what is going to happen in the second series, you are permitted to make things up as you go along. So, be creative and let�s get the plot ideas flowing!
