Folks, it's pretty simple here. We don't have a bunch of rules for one reason....we've NEVER needed them!

As horse folks, I think we all know that when we believe in something, we can get pretty passionate about it. That's all fine and good, just remember your manners.

Here are the rules:

1. If you put your horse up for evaluation, expect to get both good and bad ones. Think of it like you're attending a horse show....if you go to a horse show, you can expect that some folks will like your horse, and some won't.

By putting your horse out there for all to see, you're asking for the good, AND the bad opinions. You don't have to like what you get, but you DID ask for it.

2. No name calling, bad mouthing, mud slinging, or turd throwing. It's just plain bad manners, and we don't much care for it.

Keep in mind that I'm pretty protective of our members....if someone's bad mouthing you because of an evaluation you gave here, or something along those lines, let me know. We don't need members who stir the pot here, OR elsewhere. If you can show me where the nastiness is occuring, there's a REAL good chance we'll be short a member pretty quick.

3. NO SPAMMING.

If you spam this list, consider yourself an outcast!

4. Keep the topics in their proper places. If you want to talk about your dog, kids, family, cows, goats, soccer team, prom, husband, or anything else not horse related, keep it in the Chit Chat forum. If in doubt, private message Mary or I for our opinion on where to put your topic! If we find topics that we think need to be moved, we'll move them around as we see fit.

5. If you get ticked off by something you read here, do something else for a while before you reply. That will save you having to review rule number 2. We do have a warning system here, and it's a three-strikes-you're-out system....if we have to warn you three times for breaking the rules, you're automatically, and irreverseably, banned from this board.

I think that's it folks...hopefully we won't need any further rules, but if we do, you will see additions in this forum!
