1. Respect your Condemned in Purgatory community. CIP brings in roleplayers from all over the world: our members come from different life experiences, religious backgrounds, political ideologies, sexual orientations, and cultures in general. We don't ever want anyone in the community to feel belittled, ridiculed, or left out because of this fact, and the CIP staff is committed to maintaining a respectful and welcoming atmosphere. Because of this, any intentionally belittling or insensitive behavior will result in punitive action, up to permanent banning.
2. Political and religious discussions are not permitted on any of CIP's site. Familiar with the old adage "Never discuss politics and religion in polite company?" We tend to agree with that philosophy when it comes to CIP. As a result, we ask that if you wish to discuss these topics with another member please do so off the CIP site, including any and all forums, the C-Box and our chat rooms.
3. Follow the proper procedures and usage of our forum. We've carefully divided and organized the forum, and to keep it easy and efficient to use, we need all members to follow the basics of forum posting. Keep all OOC comments and posts in the OOC forums, don't clutter the RP forums with OOC titles and chatter (that's why we have the handy
Plotting Forum!), put all advertisements in the advertising forum, and so on.
1. Avatars must be 150x200 px.Any avatars that are smaller or larger will be removed. If you need assistance resizing an image, don't hesitate to ask someone in our
Visual Rapture forum.
2. Character signatures may be no lager than450x230 px.Unlike avatars, you have a little freedom in size here as a signature can be any shape or size under the above restriction. However, signatures larger than 450x230 px will be removed.
3. Please keep both your signatures and avatars IC related. This means, if your character's avatar is Shay Mitchell, but you have images of Kirsten Dunst as your signature or avatar, we will request that they be taken down. The sharing of all other artwork can take place in the Visual Rapture forum.
4. Please only post one image for your signature. To avoid unnecessary clutter and potentially slow loading times, please display only one image in your signature. Additional images will be removed by the Administration.
5. Give credit where credit is due.At CIP, We're very careful not to claim art that is not our own. That said, if you're using a signature or avatar made by anyone other than yourself or a member of this board, we ask that you please add a small disclaimer under your signature giving credit to the artist in question. We also request that you do not use art made on CIP anywhere but CIP. Each signature, avatar, banner or other piece of work is the property of the creator, not the user.
