When a meteor falls to earth and strikes New York at it's heart, Manhatten, the entire city is in uproar, but before it could be investigated or even seen, the meteor was gone. But now, in a time when mutants have been extinct in over ten years, something is going wrong, and powers are beginning to surface again, but what's the connection between those who are suddenly gifted? Why them?

The sun is shining brightly through the trees, but rain seems to be forbading as well as some summer storms.

: : Brooklyn Bridge
The Brooklyn Bridge (originally the New York and Brooklyn Bridge), one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States, stretches 5,989 feet over the East River connecting the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. On completion, it was the largest suspension bridge in the world and the first steel-wire suspension bridge. Since its opening, it has become an iconic part of the New York skyline. In 1964 it was designated a National Historic Landmark.

Drive across to New York, problem is, it's now the only way to New York from Brooklyn, and traffic builds up fast, there has now been a permanant jam, for a month. Traffic is slow. Very slow. It may be quicker to walk across...

: : Downtown Brooklyn
This place is the third largest business district in New York City, and is located in the northwestern section of the borough of Brooklyn. The numerous office buildings including the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower and 4 MetroTech Center in the district give the area its own skyline distinct from the destroyed on of Manhattan's. Although business has dropped slightly from the meteor hit, they are still going strong.

: : Green-wood Cemetary
This incredible cemetary is one of the heighest points in Brooklyn. Since the meteor incident, the cemetary had to expand another three acres to accomadate the dead, unknown, unnamed and those who were wanted to be remembered there by their loved ones. Come and remember the dead, find peace with yourself, but don't come alone, espically at night, somehing is going on, and the bodies are beginning to disappear from their graves, but they are only the meteor victims...what's going on?

This is the tallest building in New York, and many people come from all over the world to see it, you can even travel al the way to the top. Many people work here as well, however the Building now belongs to a young polition named Katherine Tylor, the people who work within it pay rent for the offices. From the top of the building is an incredible view of the city and it's surroundings, and even of the crash site of the meteor. It's strange how more people are jumping from the top of that tower than normal...

: : The remains of the Chelsea Piers
This place is litterally 4 piers side by side, and a masive sports and entertainment complex. You can go bowling, watch a huuuuge game of football, golf, watch a baseball or basketball game. Boxing, Dancing, Gymnastics, Ice Hockey, Keyaking, Sailing, Rock Climbing, Ice Skating, Swimming, Soccor, Yoga Running, and even volleyball. It has EVERYTHING.

Or rather had, the Chelsea piers are down by four. That's right, they no longer exist, no one knows how many people died, but what is known, is that beneath the water, the spoils of the piers still rest.

: : Meteor Crash site
This place is a horrific mass of a natural disaster (though some are not completely convinced on the natural part of that statement) a huge arc, like crator has been slammed into the island right at the center. Allthough the meteor it's self wasn't incredibly massive, about the size of two doubledecker buses one on top of each other, damage it caused from the force of it's landing was horrific.
