Title: Another night out
Elizabeth Floyd - July 13, 2007 01:38 PM (GMT)
10 pm, the time when the night owls came out, or the time when the normal people went to sleep. Elizabeth didn't see the point of going to bed, she would just have to wake up at dawn for a photo shoot anyway. Good thing about make-up, it always covered up your imperfections, not that she had any.
Her huge glasses weren't on her face today, there was no need to have them in the night. In hair was pin straight, bangs falling over her forhead. Her lips were a vivid red and her eyes rimmed darkly. She didn't know what she would do tonight, but she was sure it would be something interesting.
"Goodnight Ms. Floyd. Be safe, strange things are happening tonight." the greeter bowed as she left the hotel, flashing a smile. Her black heels clicked loudly on the pavement as she walked around New York, looking for fun, or information. The jean jacket she wore over the purple and black striped tank was pulled tightly over her chest. She was careful to avoid puddles so that her jeans didn't get all muddy.
"What do to, what to do?" she muttered to herself as she passed by several people.

He had no idea what he was doing here and to be quite frank he knew it was a stupid idea to even be on the main street because the likely hood of him being spotted or recognised went up by abotu thirty. He sighed to himself and looked around, at least ti was dark he coudl handle that but every car that drove past with its headlights on caused his eyes a fresh bout of pain which he did not enjoy in the slightest. His feet hit against the ground, the boots making a slight thudding noise. His long coat whipped around him as it moved and he sighed deeply, every cop car which went past made him nervous and aggitated he he hated being so jumpy abotu being somewhere. But hey there was nothing he could do about it was there? He grumbled to himself as he walked, and then without warning he accidentily hit into someone, he didn't move or get hurt at all, however little could be said for the girl he had just knocked to the ground,
"Sorry ma'am," he stated and crouched down to help her up, "Are you alright?" he asked, slightly concerned.

She felt something hit hard into her side, causing her to stumble a bit. The heel of her shoes stuck in a grate, causing her to fall. Elizabeth rubbed her ankle and muttered to herself as she pulled her shoe from the ground. A sudden movement and voice cause her look up into the face of someone talking to her.
"I'm fine. Just a little shocked that's all." She glared up at the person in front of her, "You should watch where you're going."

Andros looked down at at her and stretched otu a ahdnf or the girl to take so that she could be heloped up and would not have to completely do so herself. Androw maybe a rogue and on the run but it didn't mena that he could not polite, he was, he was raised ot be. Her dad, adoptive dad, may be a complte jerk and as far as Adnros was concerned coudl go fuck himself, but he had rasied Andros the right way, and that was to be a good guy, no matter what, however he kinda wished that his dad had followed his own words, because, at the end of it all, he had ordered his son, to be disposed of after being tortured to find out what he knew, life was a bitch. He shook himself of the thoughts and pulled the girl gently to her feet,
"You're right, I'm sorry I was just kinda away with my thoughts as it were."

Elizabeth placed her hand in his and allowed him to pull her up. Once on her feet, she patted her jeans down, taking all the dirt and grime off that she could. Placing a hand on her hip she stared at the person in front of her. She wondered why he seemed distant. "It's alright, but if you're gonna think, walking isn't a place to do it."

"Yes Captain," Andros said and saluted her a cheeky grin upon his face, he allowed his hands to drop back down to his sides and he inspected the girl in front of her. Hm, she was pretty in a fashion modelly type way, knowing how things went here, she probably was a fashion model, eh. He didn't care. She had nice hair which caught his attention straight off, his blue eyes never strayed from her face. They did not venture like most mens would, he was raised better than that. He slowly let his hand drift up again and he held it out to the woman in front of him,
"I'm Andros," he stated and continued to smile, "I'm sorry for colliding with you ma'am."

"Elizabeth," She took his hand and shook it. Smiling politely she put her hands back into the pockets of her jacket and turned. She signaled him to walk with her. Her mind was made up, she wanted to go to a little cafe for some coffee and muffins. "And I accept your apology. You're not from around here are you?"

Andros smiled and as signalled to, wlaked with her, alongside her and did not say anything until she asked h9im a question he nodded and answered slowly,
"I'm from Washington, but also part scottish," he stated and smiled, "Mixed heritageyou could say," he said with a sluight amount of humour in his voice. He beamed at her and looked ahead of him and squinted in pain as the headlights of a car flashed in his eyes.

She smiled at him and turned right at the first corner they came to. "Sounds like you've been around a bit then. Well, you should be warned that people here aren't as nice as they seem to be."

"All over America and thanks for the warning but I think I may have learnt that more than anyone else in this entire country," Andros stated a tiny amount of bitterness creeping into his voice bitterness he knew was only there because of what had happened to him. He sighed.
