Faust sighed and looked around. It was getting dark. He was walking around the city, restless as usual at this time of day. He had spent the latter half of the day indoors away from the sun and had just not come out in the evening light to wander around. He was safe right now as long as he wasn't in direct sunlight, so he stepped amongst the shadows of buildings and trees. It was pretty peaceful here, and the street was unnaturally empty, a fact he enjoyed.

Darkness had just begun to sink into the previously blue sky, painting the canvas a navy color which almost looked black. It was difficult remaining indoors for such long periods of time, when she was so used to going out in it as a human. But that's changed now.. She thought, a twinge of anger to it. Then again..I would've given my life to save my brother. Lexus was immersed in her thoughts, not really paying attention to where she was walking.

Her attention came snapping back to reality when by accidental means, she bumped into a man who had been walking along the street. "Oh.." she paused, not expecting anyone else to be here at this time. "My apologies."

Faust looked up. He hadn't even noticed anyone else on the street, he thought it was empty.
"It's quite alright," he replied, stopping awkwardly. He thought to himself that he probably shouldn't walk down a street while staring at his feet.

A decision couldn't be breached whether to continue her stroll or to stop as the stranger had. Lexus was a lady of class, and so, not wanting to be rude, she stopped as well. A lithe wrist would flicker upwards, brushing a stray lock of hair away from her facial structure as it so daringly got in her way. "I shouldn't have been drowned in my thoughts while walking, or maybe I would have seen you." she murmured, as though finding a need to explain herself.

He shrugged. "Same here. I wasn't paying attention. You don't have to be sorry, though," he said to her, looking around.
"Umm...I guess I should be on my way then," he muttered, taking a step again as if to keep walking. He didn't want to keep her from whatever she was up to.

Lexus not usually being the social one offered a simple nod, she didn't want to be a burden. "Alright, then. Have a good remainder of the night." she said, continuing to walk at her previous slow pace.

He nodded also. "You too..." He kept walking past her, now feeling somewhat lonely. He glanced back over his shoulder at her retreating figure. Would he see her again?...
