The Golden Palace The moment Valentine’s Day starts the Golden Palace rises from the water. Once fully emerged and with water pouring in great waterfalls the water it came from, it gleams and shimmers in it’s own long-forgotten magic. Though at first glance it seems to be floating on the water, three stories high in a pyramid-like way with the top layer smaller than the second layer and the second layer being smaller than the base, careful examination shows that there is an underground three layers… funny thing is there isn’t any stairs or passageways going downwards… The entrance could easily fit six abreast, and is the only way in or out. |

First Floor There are only three rooms in the first floor, aside from the entrance room, and two are powder rooms, one for each gender, and then the entire floor is a humongous ballroom. The floor is checkered marble tile, white and black, like a chessboard. Along one entire wall are drinks and small snacks; nothing big, just tasty little treats. Music plays, in music neither popular, nor unpopular, pleasant scores that have never been played before. The lights are large crystal chandeliers, sending soft but bright light over the area. |

Second Floor This floor is oddly quiet, though a flight of steps connecting the first and second floors. The entire floor has no doors, but large solemn maroon curtains, dividing many small rooms. Pulling back any curtain will transport you into a seemingly different world, a small sitting room with coffee or tea, and a few chairs or cushions. Soft music will play, though unheard out of the room. The air smells sweetly of some burning spice. If one goes to a certain room in the maze of curtains, they will find a winding staircase. Up is the only way into the last, and top, level. |

Third Floor When one emerges a surprisingly warm temperature for the month greets one. The floor has no roof, only a sort of mesh. The floor is a carpet of soft, lush grass. The walls are gold, but not that bright. During the night a single violin can be heard, and dragonflies drunkenly hover around the fountain. The fountain burbles pleasantly, and is made with wide cool marble, veined with a darker black. No seating, other than the edge of the fountain, is in the quiet garden, which has four red rose bushes in its corner’s. It’s a beautiful place, and usually no more than four people tend to be there at once. |
