Mithos was walking around through the village after closing shop one night. He smelled of alcohol and varies drugs, a usual result of working in a bar. He didn't feel like returning to the kingdom yet, and he had nothing to do, so why not stroll around to find some "fun." Yes, fun, he was looking either for an innocent victem to abuse, or something to destory. When he reached the barrier, his eyes glew with absolute delight.

He drew his blade and charged a wind scar. When it was fully charged, he looked around for the strongest part of the wall and decided to make it the weakest. His eyes fell on a magnificent peice, 8 feet tall in height with no cracks or straches. A worth victem he thought to himself with a devilish smile. He charged his attack extra, making sure it would strong enough to break the wall. After a few more minute, he let the energy surround his sword, and with a single swift swing, unleashed all the energy of his attack, creating a large italic l looking shape in the middle wall. Rubble was pilled at the bottom.

He stepped onto it and looked on the other side. Why did we decide to build in the first place? he asked himself, noticing nothing of intrest, or worth destoring on the other side. It would be too unwise to travel to the Joker compound without help, though the humans were weak, but they had powerful weapons Mithos knew very little about. The storries he heard of theese so called "guns" was frightening. He heard they could rip directly through armor, killing instantly, within the blink of an eye. He had no desire of seeing if theese rumors were true. He flew to the top of the wall, and peered out to the technologic area, seeing if going higher up would allow to see anything good on their side.

((I will!))

Sakrae watched the newcomer tentitively as he displayed his powers so openly. 'Who is this fool? He is the same species as that girl... could he be Mithos?' The Kirsereg Overlord was hidden behind a pile of debris, he had been watching this man for quite some time. He had sensed his power a great distance off, it oozed off of him. 'He is very powerful, I can see that much. Perhaps he is the Lord of the Dreamfolk, I won't know for sure though unless I ask him' Because of his recent encounter with an assassin who, to Sakrae's dismay, had spilt her blood on him, rendering his disguise useless. He was in his natural form now, which was why he had refraimed from making his presence known. His last encounter with a mortal while he had been in his normal form had resulted in the large crack on his skull. The Kirsereg Lord was a horrible sight to behold in his true form. A black skeleton encompessed his form, many cracks and holes from previous battles permiated the bones of the immortal leader. He wore nothing to cover his form except for a long, white cloak. Made from the finest silk, the wonderous garment had a golden symbol embroidered into the centre of it. The marking of an eclipsed moon, the light hidden behind the blackest moon. Upon his skull was a hovering circlet of Magma Rubies, their fire burning strongly above him, creating a crown of fire. Around his neck was a very important feature of the Skeleton King, a golden pendant, wrought of the finest metal, with ninety brilliantly purple crystals inside it. There was evidence that ten more would fit in the pendant, if they were present. 'I might as well make myself known to him, better he sees me out in the open than him finding me.' With that said, Sakrae moved out of his hiding spot, hovering ten feet above the ground. He moved slowly towards the winged man, the wings that were present where his feet would be moving lightly in the breeze. He came to rest at an inch above the ground behind the man, a small "whoosh" sound coming from his landing. "Quite impressive, you certainly have strength my friend." His voice was horrible, like chalk being scraped across a chalk board. It sounded as if a dying man was making the sounds, not the ten foot tall skeleton. Besides the tone though, he sounded cheerful. 'Let's see who this man is...'

Mithos felt the presence of another nearby, but paid no mind. He continued to look off into the distance, as if waiting for some type of sign. Then he felt the person come closer, perhaps trying to sneak up on him, as he thought. He put one hand on his sword, pushing it up from his sheath a little so he could easilly get it out and swing in one swift movement. As the person came closer he sensed no hostillity and pushed what little of his sword he had taken out back.

The words hit his ears like a tun of bricks. This things voice was enough to drive him insaine. He quickly covered his ears, trying not to offended, but trying even harder not to seriously injury his ear drum. "Damn, quite a voice you have on you there my friend." he thought to who ever was behind him, he still had not turned around to look at this creature.

Slowly he turned around, only to be shocked once again. "OH GOD!!!" he yelled out so everyone could hear with out any thought. He felt as if he was going to vomit, just from the look of this creature. "Please excuse me, it has been some time sense I have seen a Kirsereg." he said holding his stomach slightly. "I would like to thank you first off for noticing the obvious, I do have strength, more than any mortal." he said arrogantly.

"I believe you will find that hard to prove mortal, many people on this island seem to have overly inflated egos. No man or woman is without hubris, that is a fact of life." He spoke in a taunting tone, like he was accusing Mithos of the behaviors that he was discribing. He moved closer to the man, his putrid breath pouring over the Dreamfolk. His skeletal hands lay close to his side, each covered in many skull shaped rings. Each and every one of them was incredably detailed, with many differently coloured gems substituting as the eyes in their empty sockets. As for Sakrae's skull, inside of his eye sockets were two pinpricks of white light, deep inside of his skull. They were amazingly bright however, dispite their small size. 'Shall I... no... no not yet. His people would no doubt come after me... or praise me, this man seems capable of either effect.' (give me the time of day if you would be so kind Mithos) "Tell me, are you the one they call Mithos? The leader of the Dinduia as well as the wielder of the fabled... what was it called now? The Wind Tear was it... something like that." Closer he moved, trying to back the man beyond the hole in the barrier that he had just created by the Wind Scar. His voice was as kind as it could be, although the edge remained; one that would make lesser beings go mad. "I ran into one of your "loyal" subjects a day or two ago, by the name of Araina... what do you know of her? She hides many secrets and I am... concerned for her wellbeing." He sighed, feigning concern. Sakrae had no emotion towards the girl except hunger, and maybe a bit of curiousity, this was mearly a tactic of getting information to scare her further. 'She didn't even flinch, all that I did to her... nothing!' His eyes flaired slightly, almost beyond notice. The crown upon his head burned brightly, despite the light (or lack thereof). Floating a foot above the ground, a full ten feet tall without his levetation, the horror awaited the answers to his questions.

"Oh yes, oh how true, many of the mortals are egotistical. To think, a few actually thought they could defeat me. HA, how I pity us mortals sometimes." he thought to the Kirsereg fiend. Mithos was a cocky son of a bitch and knew it. If anyone said anything to him about it, he'd cut off their head, or at least the top of it. He hated when people pointed out the obvious for everyone else, making themselves seem important and intelligent when they were no where near it.

As the Kirsereg moved closer and breathed the stench of death on Mithos, he still felt no fear. There was little that could actually make him scared. "Why move so close, to see me better as the wolf does ridding hood?" he asked with his hand on his sword. One of the several things Mithos hated was being advanced on when attempting to have a civilized conversation. He sensed a little hostility from the creature; he wasn't going to take his hand off his sword until that feeling passed completely.

As the being moved closer, Mithos figured his scheme, to push him back off the wall into the industrial section of the island. He didn't budge, a lesser man would have plummeted into the world of humans, surely into death once he was discovered. "Why should I introduce myself to the likes of you? I know exactly who you are, lord of the Kirsereg, Sakrea, feared by many, and for good reason. I expect you to know who I am by now, I am not one of those whom will have fear sent down their spine on the sight of you. I am more than a common mortal, thought the flesh is weak, the mind and will are as strong as that of a god." he thought to the being with fire in his "voice".

"We can continue this conversation, but it will not be about either of us, nor our abilities." he said to Sakrea, hoping to talk about Araina, which he would tell several lies about. "Now, shall we continue on the topic of Araina?" he asked with much sincerity in his voice, still with one hand on his sword.

(Because you didn't specify, I'm going to assume it is around dusk)

"Very well, it is not my concern if you are... hesitant to share your talents. We will discuss Araina then, tell me what you know of her. She has abilities that are... unique at the very least. She could sense my true self while in my human form, she said that she could feel my emotions... I know that your kind are attuned to skills of the mind and such but... such skill at such a young age is truly a feat. She seems to be distracted by what you have told her though, lies she calls them but... I would like to know your side of the story." Sakrae halted his advancement on Mithos, he had figured out his tactic so there was no point in moving further, he would just lose a limb, something that he didn't want to have to go through again. He did not back up however, he merely stood locked in position. 'Keep the pressure on, it will make sure that he tells the truth... hopefully. This man looks capable of much decete, I will need to analyze all that he says. Every word that he speaks could be a lie.'

Spirits began to appear before him, those long past, humans, naitives, all caught in eternal warfare. Many were familiar to the ancient Overlord, although their names were forgotten, Sakrae knew that they ment something to him. His teeth gleamed in the dim light, night had almost come. 'Soon I will be able to summon my blade, if things go wrong I will have a way of defending myself.' Sakrae's blade was not his only method of self-defense, although it was his most preferred. It enabled him to cause much greater pain than most of his abilities, his toxin excluded of course. The black sword had given him the edge in many battles in his long existance, and he knew that it would give him such an edge tonight if things degenerated into a brawl. 'I wish I could find more about this man... perhaps one of my books will reveal more.'

Mithos listened expecting his ear drums to burst by the end of this “pleasant” little conversation he was having with Sakrae. He struggled to keep his mind on what Sakrae was saying and still have enough of a brain to reply to him. “I am hesitant because the less your enemy knows about you the better, obviously.” He said to Sakrae, thinking of him as an enemy for the time being. He didn’t like Sakrae, and wanted him to know it. He was scowling at him the whole conversation. “Now for Araina, she is Purple Sun, daughter of the infamous Black Sun, whom I am solely responsible for killing.” He started off telling him the small details.

“Black Sun trained her strongly during the time they shared. I have seen her talents first hand and have her skills in battle pretty much completely figured” he continued on. His hand never left his sword; he was expecting some type of attack from Sakrae eventually and wanted to be completely prepared for it. “She can sense emotions and feed off of them. She used this ability to feed off my anger and adrenaline during her initiation sparring match” he told him. “A remarkable thing for someone her age indeed.” He continued on. “The one time I met her before her initiation, we almost battled then. It was in the tower, you know that crumbled piece of shit that looks like a small breeze could knock it over.” He asked rhetorically.

“I saw two figures in at the top, and having nothing to do, I went in to check it out. One was a Mithyas musician and the other was her. I didn’t think much of her the first time I laid eyes on her, never predicting who she was. Her leg was injured and she was resting. When she awoke, she immediately drew her weapon, but didn’t use it. We had a small conversation about who she was, and her mother; mostly lies about why I spoke like I knew her mother. I was trying hard to cover up the fact I killed her, but she found out eventually during the initiation, as I over did it to force her to fight to the best of her ability. That about sums it all up…” he finished still with his hand on his sword.

Sakrae smirked as the sun fled behind Mithos' body, the last bit of light that it gave nearly gone. His pendant began to glow softly, the shape of the purple crystals that resided within it changing to that of a gaping skull. 'Finally, only a few more moments... he doesn't seem to want to have a civilized conversation after all. Why else would he keep his hand on his blade? I have made no "real" motion of aggresion towards him, if he keeps it up I will have no choice but to... react.' His black teeth glittered in the purple light of his pendant. The trapped souls within aching for release, the feeling was intoxicating. He took his head and twisted it full-circle around his neck, many small cracks came from this motion. Once he reaffixed his head to its proper position on his neck, he began to speak once again; his voice even more horrible than before.

"Enemy? If I am your "enemy" then why would you give me information about one of your... loyal subjects so freely? Is it that you do not care about them? Information is something that can decide a person's fate Mithos, surely you know that. Still... I do not think that you would lie to me about these facts, such a thing would be uncalled for and... uneeded." His voice had taken on a slightly arrogant tone, which resulted in the sharp edges of his voice becoming even more keen. He sat down in mid-air, his head perfectly level with Mithos', his eyes glowing brightly in the coming darkness. "Tell me Mithos, do you care about Araina? Her safety? Her wellbeing?" He paused a moment, leaning forward he whispered the last words to him. "Her soul?" He leaned back to his original position, sitting in a meditative stance. 'Let's see how he reacts, I will relay any... harmful information to Araina, she will feel anguish, and I will take her for my own.'

The sun finally had set, the darkness complete. Sakrae's pendant glowed even brighter, so that Mithos' body was covered in the purple light. Sakrae's crown of Magma Rubies burned even brighter as well, erupting into an inferno. 'Finally, if he attacks me now... I will have a little surprise for him.' He beamed at Mithos as the spirits that were surrounding him became more and more visible to him, and perhaps to Mithos. Their forms becoming even more outlined, their souls shining brightly in the dark. 'Mouthwatering...'
