Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer, Hot vampires! XD

I can't believe someone hasn't started a topic on this series yet. It is THE BEST. The story is fabulous. There are three books out right now and the next one comes out fall of 2008. Oh and they're even making it into a movie! I totally recommend this to everyone out there. I've read all three books at least three times in the past eight months.

wow! this book was like this huge thing at my school! like everyone started buying it and reading it.

I was going to but I never really got to it. and Im not really sure if I'de like it and if Ide be able to finish it ans such ^^;

I finished the first book, it took me some time to finish it since it was really thick, but it is a great read. I'm starting the second one, New Moon. Jacob Black seems to be growing up really fast, I'm really enjoying reading the book Twilight and the series. =3

I've finished all the books in this series that have come out. They're so good. I think overall the first one was the best.

I can't wait till Midnight Sun comes out. I haven't heard anything about a release date but i hope one comes up soon.

This series is like..huge between my group of friends...it's just like..yeah...it's a good series! I loved it when i started reading it..

I loved the series. I ended up reading the second book in two days. I had no idea she was coming out with a fourth book. I'm gonna have to by it as soon as it hits the shelf now that I know. Stephenie Meyer is a great author and I like the unique way she spells her first name. Can't wait till BREAKING DAWN hits the shelf.

My sister reads this book, but i've tried reading it. Its not to my taste. I think this book is for younger children to read. It's amazing how this book is translated into so many languages though.

BREAKING DAWN, omg. I can't wait for August.
I'm so excited about the movie coming out in December! I it won't get overshadowed by the Harry Potter movie, though.

I have read the series and found them to be fast summer reads. However, as popular as the books are, Bella is not a good role model for young girls. The books portray her as a weak character - the damsel in distress, if you don't mind me saying - always depending on her boyfriend to save her. Women in today's society are strong and do not need a man to support them. And Edward is a character of little depth - a plastic, superficial character, a male Mary Sue.
I know that my opinion will be unpopular, but please consider it.

My friends have read Breaking Dawn, they all say that it was not as good as the other three. Is that true?....coz from what I am hearing it is very preditable and that puts me off reading the book.

I love Twilight series...but here in Italy Breaking Dawn has not been pubished yet...I really can't wait anymore >.<

I hope Twilighters won't start hating on me, but in my opinion, the writing of the books... wasn't all that great. Sure the series was addictive because of the characters and because the author preyed on our ideal man fantasies, bu when you look at it, the books are quite unfeminist and the plot's everywhere.

i really enjoyed reading the twilight series. i think it would have to be one of my most favorite series of books. i would really recommend it to people that wants to start on it!

I hate them. I don't find them very well written, and they're like softcore. She should have just published it with Harlequin or something.
