Why was he doing this again?
For the first time since winter set on to Castanet, the wizard opened his door. Not one time in the entire season had he dared to step out in to the cold, frigid village. Why? Because... well. That was a story for another day entirely.
The bright light of the spring sun drew a sigh from his lips. Here it was barely seven a.m. and it was already bright enough to blind him. At this rate, he'd be exhausted by noon. Perhaps he should have tried to get more sleep last night - he was definitely would be needing it for the task stretched before him.
Every window in his house soon opened as well. The wizard made his way outside and down the steps towards the Watery Cave, a bucket in his hand. The water from there would be more useful in cleaning then regular tap water, that was for sure. Additional minerals would only spruce it up better.
"This will... take... forever..." He resisted the urge to groan as he stood outside of his home, kneeling over the bucket now as he started to mix the soap and water together. Spring cleaning - not his idea of a fun day.
