The night of the bonfire, stretching down to the end of the long beach the tide reached out hitting against various rocks. Kyle laid on the sandy beach half dead face down. The roaring tide splashing across his back. His cloak was ripped and goggles smashed. A nearby top hat washed up alongside him placing nicly on his cold now blue hand.

"Kyle super adventure squad is go" He muttered out to himself still unconsious and on the brink of death.

Another festival out on the sandy beach with a highly raised fire burning in the middle? Already, Maya was enthused with what she heard, since it definitely sounded interesting. Not only that, but when she heard the option of roasting fluffy marshmallows along with cold, sweet-tasting chocolate? She could already feel all those flavours rolling in her mouth, the chocolate lasting on her tongue. Nothing was too sweet for her, as they all said! Her feet already planted in the sand, she passed through the small crowds of people that gathered around the fiery pit in the midst of all the commotion. It was obvious as to where she was headed, and even her thoughts surrounded that one topic. Food; specifically, chocolate and marshmallows! A wide, toothy grin on her round face, excitement built in her body that would burst when she got to the small table of food. Yet as her nose already sniffed in the sweet smells, something glinted in the distance. By the looks of it, it was close to the water, slightly being splashed by the waves overlapping others in the ocean. But one detail made her eyes widen. Was it... a body?

Rushing to it, she knew that she was now leaving all that precious food behind... oh, but she had to resist. A life was much more important... wasn't it? Shaking her head angrily, she finally approached the body, eyes widening once more. It really was a body, a body of a dark brown haired man wearing a ripped cloak and a top hat sliding along his damp body. Mouth gaping open in shock, she knelt down beside him and listened to the soft words that spilled out of his mouth. "Kyle super adventure squad is go" Super adventure squad!? Now her thoughts revolved around this "squad" and oh, it definitely got her attention. Being a fan of the Steel Samurai, this was a strange, non-offering opportunity she had to accept. Maybe saving him will give her admission to this gang? She already had the intention of saving him anyway, so it was a sort of win-win situation. Her mouth was still open immensely, but she still managed to inquire, "Mister, are you alright? I hope you're not dead, but then again, I can spirit channel you! Aww, but I really wanted to join that super adventure squad..."

"Heh, its cold..a true challenge of adventure!"
His body was numb and quiet, the cold wind brushing against his pale unconscious face. A voice hitting his ear drum mentioning the word "adventure quad." It made his finger twitch, strangely bringing him to his seances.
"A-A-adventure squad!"

Heart beating faster, his eyes open, body unpredictably jumping upwards one arm stretched into the air.
"ADVENTURE QUAAAADDDD!" His face covered by a gigantic grin, feet shakily pressing onto the floor making a slushy watery sound every step. His right arm stretched in the air. Left arm however appeared to be bent out of place.
"Hey my arm!? Owie owie ow....its hurts...ah well, you win some you lose some!" Kyle bursts into laughter soaking wet not really noticing he was pretty cold. His eyes soon noticing the girl nearby, head tilted in confusion. He wasn't aware anyone else was around him, but seeing people made him quite happy and also meant, he has reached a new island!
"NEW ISLAND! yay! Hey there mystery person!"

Continuing to look at the poor soul, her eyes drooped down depressingly, scanning the whole cold body. It didn't look good, and she knew what dead bodies looked like... the thought almost scared her. But when she heard a voice, she knew it was from the male lying down by the water, whose lips were pursed from talking. She was unable to catch what he said, but still, this was a sign. Maybe.. maybe he was still alive! Clasping her hands together, anticipating for him to wake up, she beamed down at him, standing up in the process. Finally, what she was waiting for came, and with a jump of excitement and bliss, a large, toothy grin slid across her face when she heard what he said when he jumped up, full of life.

"ADVENTURE SQUAAAADDDD!" What he belted out enthusiastically caught her full attention, and she squealed with joy. "Mister, can I join!?" she asked, her fingers folding together, practically pleading to him now. Yet when she said it, she noticed him cringe in pain as he tried to move his left arm. Seeing him get inflicted with pain made her pout, and on impulse, she blurted out, "Let's get you somewhere safe, mister! Or, maybe I can help you get to some hospital or something... I don't know." But at that moment, he was already bursting into laughter, not minding the pain striking his arm. Well, at least he was funny and cheery. Paying no mind to his sudden outburst, she simply smiled blissfully, her eyes anticipating for answers.

Suddenly, their eyes finally met, and it seemed like he was going on tangents, with all these random and odd sayings. But this was Maya, and she was like that to, so really, she paid no attention to all this strangeness. "NEW ISLAND! yay! Hey there mystery person!" Her hands still folded together, held above her chest, she gave him a gigantic grin and introduced herself. "Hiya! Name's Maya! What's your name, mister...ya?" Yup, she was trying to rhyme things. Oh, Maya.

Getting more light headed Kyle finds himself getting caught between his consciousness, his face turning more blue from the cold, his fingers ever so slightly twitching, the cold sea brushing against his sandy feet.
"Maya?" He replied in a drowsy weak tone. "The name is Kyle, my adventure squad? Did you say you wanted to joi......"

Kyle's eyes close, his body falls back against the sandy beach as Kyle succumbed to his wounds, smile still covering his blue pale face. Even in the state of unconsciousness he continues his sentence.
"Of course you can join if you like adventure."

Despite her perky mood and his eager responses, worry filled her petite face as she looked at his current condition. Telling from the way he looked, and how weary his eyes and words were, he didn't look good at all. He trembled from the cold, both from the crashing waves that fell upon their feet, and the cool, evening winds that brushed their exposed skin. Though she felt no chills, he must have been agonizing from all brisk movements in the air, and when she saw his face shrivel up to an almost azure colour, her response to this view was, "Mister! We got to get you somewhere safe and warm before you pass out!" Unsure of what to do, she flailed her arms around, hoping he would agree, as he passed it up last time. As she continued to look at him with furrowed eyebrows and a wailing pout, he introduced himself while also mentioning his adventure squad. At that moment, a broad grin fell upon her face as her spirit were lifted and she looked at him, anticipation shivering down her spine. How exciting!

But even with the happy news she could soon get, he "collapsed" and faltered to the ground, sand parting from its original place as his impact caused the sand particles to jump. Yelping in agony, she saw his eyes seal, and as he murmured out something with a quaint smile, she took it as his final words, being the crazy girl she was. Even though he said he could join his crew... he was dead! Not animate, won't ever awaken from this deep slumber... She practically screamed her heart out, small tears forming in her eyes. "Aww... mister... Kyle..." Maya didn't know what to say nor do. Usually Nick was here, helping her out, but now that she was all alone... what was she supposed to do!?
