CASTANET ISLAND
Welcome to Light of the Harvest Moon! We are a Harvest Moon based RP forum set on Castanet Island. We have dozens of canon characters from all the games to pick from, but you can always make your own character as well. Feel free to look around our forums and see what insanity the members have been up too.

Slowly, the snow has melted away and the green grass has been poking it's way up. Flowers have begun blooming again, the trees are leafing, and the fish are swimming. However, the entire island is still not at ease. With the continued search for the missing Harvest Sprites, some of the villagers run around frantic worried about what will happen to the island if they don't find all of the sprites. Also, some villagers have noticed that the sea seems...different. Not as gentle as it used to be. However, not that many villagers are worried about it now though. Is it an omen of things to come?

She wouldn't say she had gotten lost... of course she wouldn't! Who would want to admit to loosing there way when she hadn't even really gone that far. The Vineyard was less than a 15 minute walk from here and yet... she STILL couldn't find her way back. Dellila Flynn or Lila for short stood on the edge of an open field as she emerged from the wooded area that surrounded it looking around with a worried gaze to mask the frustration of being lost.

Wandering out of the shelter of the woods she hummed softly to herself to calm the worry she felt welling up in her chest. Knowing she couldn't show fear Lila began to look around hoping to find the main road but this place seemed so far off the beaten path that maybe time had worn away the road to take her home! What if she was stuck out here all by herself without food? Or Shelter? Goodness she'd have to try to manage as best she could until she found her way home or her brother came out looking for her.

Lila plopped down on the ground to rest just a moment as she drew her knees up to her chest and gazed around. "I wonder where this place is anyway... I don't hear the river anymore... or maybe my hearing is going." Bad habits were hard to break as she murmured to herself about the situation, not really expecting anyone to be in the area although she saw a house and other buildings. But they looked rundown on the outside, possibly not livable but then again so did the Vineyard and look at where she was living.

30th of Summer; mid afternoon

It was a pain getting used to the property of the farm that he, technically, now owned with the young miss Adelaide Deson. For the hundredth time since everything took place, he couldn't help but wonder why he had done this. It wasn't like him - or maybe that was, strangely enough, the exact reason.

Or maybe it was because he couldn't keep running forever.

Forget-Me-Not Valley. A girl with lovely brown hair, tied up into a strange ponytail. How very quickly she wormed her way into his heart! Her smile, her laugh, her personality... she trusted some of the silliest things he told her. When he had, jokingly, told her that his destiny in life was to make curry, she started bringing him curry almost every night that he made his way into the valley.

When the mob gathered to hunt for him after he left a note at the inn, it had been her that smiled softly and said she'd let him go. Then... then...

... Then he hadn't stopped running.

In the next place he stayed, the real trouble began. From the mysterious Phantom Thief to a flat out criminal in the big city. Things he had done there - horrible things - were not his intentions. That wasn't him, nor was that what he believed his title was out. Being the Phantom Thief... that was about giving people a rush. Being warned ahead of time, been given a chance... that was what he wanted to do. Everyone needed a little excitement in their life, after all, and this would give them it.

The farm with her? It was... something new. A different experience. A different chapter. A different setting. It excited him more then he wanted to think of.

Shaking his head and slapping his cheeks lightly, Skye focused on what exact was going on. Exploring the land! Right, right! He needed to do that.

But lo and behold, a feminine figure a short distance away just happened to catch his attention. Tilting his head to the side and stepping closer - in range so she could see him now too - he managed a cheery grin. "Well, look what we've got here. You lost, kitty?"

Somehow, Cliff managed to get himself lost.. again.

He was a little frustrated with where he was, since he thought he knew the areas of Castanet due to the time he had lived in the place. Unfortunately, he was being tested, or so he was thinking, and was now wandering through a beaten down path towards who-knows-where. In fact, he had no idea why or how he ended up here, or more importantly, just why was he roaming outside of the Valley? Feeling foolish, he sighed deeply and strode on, hoping that this road would lead him to a place with people in it; people who would help him find his way out of here.

As the path ended, he found himself on a farm, unsure if people lived in it. The field was clear, although little bits of grass sprouted, and the houses situated there weren't broken down, or so it looked. Still surveying the area, a light smile slipped onto his face when took notice of voices, loud and clear. His eyes easily detected the sources, them being two girls, although one of them seemed to have masculine features.. Although he was curious about that, he agreed to keep quiet and wait if the woman was actually a guy.. or hopefully, not. Gulping, he froze in his place as he watched and heard them exchange a few words, or at least one of them, and was unsure if he should say anything or not. He wouldn't want to interrupt them, after all.. and plus, being the shy guy he was, his will to talk was restrained.

Looking up Dellila froze as she noticed a person approaching. Watching with hesitation she waited watching the person. From this distance she wasn't sure if the person was a guy or a girl, they looked feminine to Lila but she wasn't sure. Even as the person approached she had to wait until he spoke to know for sure.
"Well, look what we've got here. You lost, kitty?"
Lila gulped softly feeling her throat grow dry. Nervousness kicking in as she blinked and looked at the guy with a pair of wide caramel colored eyes that probably resembled saucers. Curse her nervousness, she was always wishing she was more brave like Toni.
"Erm... um... k-kind of... I'm... I'm sorry if I'm trespassing..." as she spoke she began to inch her way back away from him trying to force some distance between the two of them.
"I... I can go, it shouldn't be hard to f-find my way back home... s-sorry for being a bother." like the little coward she was Lila began trying to escape from the situation as she backed up faster and faster until it was basically a backwards jog. However quickly she found herself tripping over something, which wasn't really all that surprising as she found herself falling backwards onto the ground her head giving a loud thud against the ground as she winced in a bit of pain before opening her eyes. Looking up she came face to face with yet another person, another guy as she looked up at his blue eyes.
"S-sorry... I didn't mean to..." she gave a breathless murmur as the fall had knocked the wind from her as she inhaled trying to regain her breath. Pushing herself into a sitting position, Lila blinked her eyes trying to regain focus.

.... Okaaaaaaay! Well. That wasn't something he was exactly used to.

For the life in him, Skye couldn't exactly figure out what was up with the strange girl. Stumbles onto his property - oooh, that gave him tingles thinking about it - then backs away just like that. Was he expected to follow after her? Or maybe he was meant to just stand there gawking in confusion?

Rubbing the back of the neck, it was the latter of the two mingled with the first. Skye stepped after the girl once she plummeted to the ground, cringing a bit. Yowch. That had to hurt quite a bit.

"You okay, kitty? Not too graceful!" The silver-haired youth grinned, folding his arms behind him, and took a moment to notice that another figure was there as well. Brown hair, blue eyes... huh. "Yo! Looks like I've got another stray."

Still positioned by the entrance of the newly found farm, he watched as the two girls interacted, the red-haired being more nervous than the other. Cliff watched as she looked at him in shock, her eyes bulging open as if she were a fish. Before he knew it, she was walking away, but the strange thing was that she stumbled away.. in a backwards fashion. He tilted his head in intricacy, his eyes trailing her movement. But he had yet to realize where she was headed due to his eyes being shifted to the back of her head, only seeing clumps of red, wavy hair. Before he knew it, he had realized it in an instance that they would collide.. just around the time that happened. Oomph! was what came to mind as her body fell on his. The impact he made on the ground wasn't harsh, but the fact that he had a bit of weight resting on him, that being the girl, he felt more in affliction than usual. Luckily, she slid off just in time, sitting beside him to apologize for her paining actions. "S-sorry... I didn't mean to..." It was all she could say, but being the considerate guy he was, Cliff nodded reassuringly, hoping she would take that as a, "It's okay, I'm good."

Although half of that was a lie. He didn't feel good, no, he felt a little.. bad. In harm. His head ached, and his body tingled when it moved. He knew that her stumble wasn't her true intentions, nor was it to hurt him, but the pain was still there, affecting him in every way as he moved. Luckily, things weren't too bad, and was able to sit himself up, although his legs remained the same; lying. Suddenly, a male voice rang in his ears, and it wasn't his. Wasn't he the only boy around? As he looked up, his eyes bulged open, just like the girl's eyes from before. What he was mistaken with.. was his assumption about the other girl, who, in reality, was a guy. Just from a close up look, he could finally tell that this was indeed a man, just by his facial and body features. Not to say he was checking him out--ew, that would be wrong.

"You okay, kitty? Not too graceful!" When the silver-haired man said those words in a joking manner, Cliff was not sure how to answer, until he realized those words were toward falling "damsel in distress." Although no one really did save her. "Yo! Looks like I've got another stray." Cliff froze. Stray? Wasn't that term for, you know.. cats? Stray cats? But then again, maybe he just meant another one was here, except in this man's own, "fabulous" terms. Still, he had no way to answer, and instead, a crumbling smile formed on his lips, the sides dropping down each second. He had to look happy at least, right? Well, he knew that he really wasn't happy; more like confused, nervous, and in pain. Just the usual.

Feeling her face glow red hot like a bed of coals as her cheeks grew considerably warmer Lila felt horrible. Worse then horrible even, she wanted to disappear from sight as the guy she had just run from walked up and spoke.
"You okay, kitty? Not too graceful!"
That didn't really make it any better as she averted her gaze out of embarrassment. The guy had been smiling... well what else was there to do except laugh at her own misfortunes as well. Looking up she forced a slight smile to her lips as she shook her head.
"W-well my middle name certainty isn't Graceful I can tell you that." she managed a slight laugh trying to block out her embarrassment as best that she could although her face still felt warm as she sat there. Shifting her weight so she stood Lila looked back at the other guy she had run into her smile dropping off for a more worried expression as she blinked her eyes observing him for a moment before casting him an apologetic gaze. "I'm sorry... r-really... I- I am! I didn't hurt you at all did I? I'm sorry if I did, I'm..." she stopped realizing she was sounding like a broken record repeating "I'm sorry" over and over AND over. Growing silent however meant she felt her nerves creeping up on her again, and if that happened she would stumble over her words more often then not.
