Light of the Harvest Moon -> 2) Plot

CASTANET ISLAND
	Welcome to Light of the Harvest Moon! We are a Harvest Moon based RP forum set on Castanet Island. We have dozens of canon characters from all the games to pick from, but you can always make your own character as well. Feel free to look around our forums and see what insanity the members have been up too. Slowly, the snow has melted away and the green grass has been poking it's way up. Flowers have begun blooming again, the trees are leafing, and the fish are swimming. However, the entire island is still not at ease. With the continued search for the missing Harvest Sprites, some of the villagers run around frantic worried about what will happen to the island if they don't find all of the sprites. Also, some villagers have noticed that the sea seems...different. Not as gentle as it used to be. However, not that many villagers are worried about it now though. Is it an omen of things to come? Long ago, the Harvest Goddess and Harvest God watched over the land, keeping everything in balance with five bells that resounded through the area. However, one day the bells went missing, and the one destined to come revive the land... failed. Years passed. More years passed. Eventually, Harmonic Town become little more then a hamlet for broken hearts and deserted dreams. There are those with hope still though! They are struggling to revive the village and return the valley to it's former glory. Will they meet failure? Or, somewhere along the way, will they find life's greatest treasure? Unregistered	Due to the recent loss of many of our villagers, and the apparent low value of out land, the company, "Fun Times" has decided they have to have our island! However, the mayor is willing to stand his ground and refuse the company, but how long before they take legal action? Fun Times has already closed off Toucan Island, Flute Fields, and the Central Valley for "inspection purposes". Garmon Mine District and the Town itself are the only area open to the general public. What can we do though? The town needs to prove itself alive once again by holding amazing and lively festivals, opening busy shops, having a friendly population, get their booming farms back, and maybe even discover what those bells are for... The only thing that can save the island is YOU.
