Bella, you know I'll love you forever, but,
I can't fight this eclipse.

Bella Swan,
Eighteen is in love. With who though, that's
the tricky part. The lines of her loyalty are
blurred between mortal enemies, and the
ever present question is asked: Edward, or
Jacob? Bella tries to find herself and salvage
her relationship with Edward. "He loves
me, I know he loves me." but is more torn
daily between hurting someone she could
be in love with, or someone she can't live without.
She knows she can't have it two ways, and
both are sick of being torn. Bella Swan is
preoccupied with giving Edward reasons to
stay, all the while trying to make Jacob happy.
Jacob is adamant against her being a vampire,
yet she's constantly asking Edward to change her.

Bella knows she's a monster. Hurting everyone
she loves all the time and she tries hard to stay
from Jake to keep Edward happy, but Jacob keeps
coming around. It makes things harder for both
of her relationships.

Outside of Forks Washington, The newborns are
coming. The army is growing. The numbers rise
and fall as quick as a breath, with the setting of
the sun. They move, they move toward Forks Washington,
slowly but sure of the path. They recruit daily.
They kill and they leave nothing in their wake except
destruction. Their motive: revenge. Blinded by
hate and cruelty they destroy over and over.
Unstoppable in their force, unstoppable in
their strength, they march onward. Only
by the night. They listen, but they do not hear.
They see, but they are blind by force. They
feel, but they are not feeling creatures. They
move, but they don't know why.

The newborns come unnoticed, the Cullens
thinking it's nothing more than a serial killer.
Alice Cullen is preoccupied with watching
the Volturi.

Non-Vegetarian friends of Jasper's, Charlotte
and Peter come back for a visit to warn the
Cullens that there is a newborn army, and
not much time left to protect themselves. Charlotte
and Peter stick around to help, but don't
like the fact that a human knows of their
secret. After begging them to also keep a
secret, Charlotte and Peter have to decide:
Go down with the Cullens if the Volturi
decide to step in, or tell the Volturi and
keep their lives.

The Cullen Family calls upon everyone they
know for help to defeat the newborn army.
No one wants to get involved, and their last
resort is either the wolves or the Volturi.
The wolf pack is ever growing but with recent
animosities, will they be willing to help?
Jacob has to decide if he's willing to overlook
his hate for Edward Cullen, and help keep
the family -and Bella safe, or if he's going to
let them die, so he doesn't have to face seeing
Bella turned into a vampire one day.

With all the tension and stress brought about
recently with Bella, Emmett is considering
joining the Volturi guard, in order to keep
himself and Rosalie safe. The perks are a
life of safety and the thought is tempting to him.
Emmett is careful to make no decisions and to
think about it very little around his gifted
siblings. If the stress gets higher Emmett
considers letting down his family to keep
himself and Rosalie safe.

Victoria, willing to do anything to keep the
Cullen's and the wolves apart, sends newborns
to play on the lines of defense, to frame the Cullens
for crossing on to Quileute territory. It makes
the decision to help harder for the wolves.

With everything teetering on the edge is it possible
to salvage the broken relationships? Is it possible
to find help in this situation? Will Bella decide
who she wants? More importantly though,
will they remain safe?
