This visit ties my record of last year at 19, and it was one for the record books!

This truly was a family meetup, where I spent quality time with immediate family members AND CanobieFan family members! I'll keep this short and sweet by just posting highlights.....

I was there with my brother Bob, his wife Donna, their daughter Kristi, her boyfriend Luke, Bob & Donna's niece Caitlin and nephew Connor, and I introduced them to CanobieFans Ben James Ben, Mad Jenny Morgan and PubMan!

The park was jam-packed! Xtreme Frisbee was not running.

Rides (some with family, some with CanobieFans): Carousel, Dodgem, Tiki Maze, Over The Rainbow, Crazy Cups and Canobie Express.

Spent a good amount of time at the OktoberFest tent. Brother Bob couldn't wait to sample the beer garden! Park Owner Ray Captell is there, I introduce him to my relatives and he tells the staff not to charge us for food and buys everyone a round of drinks! What a great guy! Of course I have my usual--Mug Root Beer in my ScreeemFest Blood Mug, chicken cordon bleu bites and German fries, then some popcorn.

We watch the 6PM Madonna show and 7PM Mini-KISS show, Dancer Mia joins me in the crowd during Mini-KISS, I later get my picture with the band and introduce Mia to my relatives. We all split up to go on rides and that's the last I see of my family there--we were like moving targets and couldn't find each other and I later come to the conclusion that they had to leave because it was getting late. Spend the rest of the night with PubMan and Jenny.

I see Alan Kaye, aka Ozzy, sitting on the throne near the OktoberFest tent and get him to sign my autograph book. It is now complete! He later rides shotgun in the ScreeemFest hearse during the 8PM Monster Parade led by Tyler The Fun Czar Querol.

I spend a lot of time looking around for my family members with Jenny and PubMan in tow before stepping into the Gables Grill building. I go to Jackpot Casino and they to the restrooms and I get separated from them! We reunite in the Da Vinci's Dream area for Terrify The Sky. Not as much thick smoke permeating the park like last time but we could still smell it and felt firework debris falling from the sky! One of the songs playing during the display was Marilyn Manson's cover of This Is Halloween from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Catch the 10PM Madonna show then just sat on a bench, I get my pictures with the other three dancers (Miki, David and Cedric--Miki later makes this her profile picture on FB!) AND Melissa/Madonna, sans blond wig wearing her gray hat! All pics mentioned here are on my Facebook page.

Before leaving I buy a few things at the front entrance gift shop: an OktoberFest logo travel mug, ScreeemFest shot glass and CLP Yankee Cannonball coffee mug. I say my goodbyes to PubMan and Jenny and we take our time heading to the parking lot waiting for the gridlock to die down.

This was a very memorable trip! My record-breaking 20th visit TR is coming right up!

Great trip report Steve! I'm glad you had a fun time like always and the fireworks were a little less "terrifying" this time biggrin.gif You're like a VIP there getting free food and whatnot! Also, I'm happy to know you finally completed that autograph book. It's a shame Canobie is closed the rest of the season, looks like you'll have to save 21 visits for next year!
