As many of you already know, I will spend Halloween with my family celebrating my parents' golden anniversary, so I had my Halloween fun one night early by visiting ScreeemFest one last time before the park closes. I went on Friday, October 30 and it wasn't as chilly as last time.

Arrived at around 4:50PM, used a discount coupon and went in. Said hello to the staff and talked with Chris Nicoli for a bit. This report will be brief as I don't have a lot of time.

I was wearing an orange T-shirt that read "THIS IS MY COSTUME!!!!! Give me the DAMN CANDY" and I got a lot of compliments for it from employees and guests alike.

Rode each of my favorite rides once (with the obvious exception of the Blue Heron). Had Mug Root Beer and two slices of cheese pizza from the Trellis, saw Al (the CanobieFan formerly known as Freddy FreeMeal) operating the Carousel, but no other Canobie Fans. WipeOutFan, were you there?

Walked through the Pumpkin Palace and instead of Dorothy there was a girl dressed as a fox like Ben said in his TR.

Got to talk with Alex the coffin driver for a bit. Welcome to CanobieFans, Alex!

Love those rest rooms by the Giant Sky Wheel, which were heated so we could thaw out!

Shout out to the Monster Bash gang, who came out for a meet & greet after the show. I met the Pirate drummer, Dracula (Tony Morelli from MystiQue and Imagination Generation), Shaniqua (Caity Glover) and got to chat with Frankie (Brandon Mallard), who still has a busy schedule of shows ahead of him aside from this one! I am now friends with Brandon and Caity on Facebook.

The Monster Parade passes by and I finally track down the clown who knows my name, it was in fact Colin Powers from MystiQue and IG.

Not much else to report, basically walked around the part taking in the sights and sounds knowing that my next visit won't be until late April. I love watching the Xtreme Frisbee at night!

Said my goodbyes and left at around 9:45PM. So I miss my record of last year by one visit, but 15 trips is still a jaw-dropper!

Farewell, my friend Canobie Lake Park, until we meet again in the spring.

I was there last night too. It wasn't too crowded. I'd say ScreeemFest is just ok. They really need to bring on more Halloween decorations and add some spooky elements to the park. I think if they put some heavy fog machines next to Star Blaster and flooded it with Red/Orange lights they could call it "Fire Blaster" for Halloween. Assuming they had a good season, I'm sure they'll improve on this each year.

Thanks for the TR, Steve! It sounds like you had a good time! I wished I'd remembered about the heated rest rooms over by the Giant Sky Wheel, because I might have popped in there for a bit just to warm up after putting on that extra sweatshirt when I went!

I just added Colin Powers to my growing Facebook list of friends as well as Brandon J. Mallard and Caity Glover (Frankie and Shaniqua from Monster Bash). I sent requests to Tony Morelli (Dracula) and Tim Stone (the Pirate drummer). I think I have some 20 past and present Canobie show people on my Facebook!
