One of my friends said that that Canobie's back part is operated by SIX FLAGS! It can't be true.

its not true...canobie is owned by three seperate familys if im not mistaken...and none of them have no iffiliation with six flags corporation

Rumors of SFI buying canobie have been around for a long time. this is the first time I have heard a rumor claiming that SFI actually had any ownership.

Well one of my friends said that a part is owned by six flags. Also known as Rotten Weeds.

The rum or has been around for years and will stay around for years. People believe often what they want to believe but not what is practical or in any way reality.

I bought a Canobie ashtray 2 weeks ago; I'm not even going to use it. I just thought with ashtrays on the way out and so much restriction these days on smoking, this would be a cool collector's item. I can park it next to the glass Howard Johnson's ashtray I got at that thrift shop in Tucson.

Now people are saying canobie was open saturday! Where do they get this ridiculous stuff?????

It's possible someone rode by, saw them testing the Big Wheel and thought they were open.

Confirmed, it was not the Big Wheel being tested because I drove by tonight and it's still just a frame, no cars on it.

Once again, people are saying that Six Flags bought Canobie.
