How would you run Canobie?

If you were a co owner of canobie lake, what would you add and remove? Would you advertise differently? What would you serve at the park for food?

I would add a Chance Rock & Roll (replica of looper) ride where the hot dog stand is. I would add a new advertising theme. "Canobie Lake Park, entertaining familys since 1902, and doing a good job at it." For food, i would add a Gobbler sandwich( if you go to the topsfield fair you HAVE to try one, there delicous!) It has real sliced turkey, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce in it.

I would destroy Antique Cars and make a Galaxi. I would add Matter horn back where it belongs! I would add a loop to Corkscrew and name it golden eagle. I would paint Cannonball back to its original color. (red, white, ect.) I would have BK and Dominoes. I would advertise commercials like this: A kid would sit in a room, and find himself on Golden Eagle!

I will post more later. but one of my big plans differ from another. I would keep the antique cars. Turn then around so you travel in the other direction, expand the line slightly, and add more cars. I would remove the Canobie 500 cars to make way for a new coaster.

i would take out the pirta and put it on display in the parking lot as history.

i would replace it with a technical park pirate ship!

I would weight the option of having them or Huss install a new motor for the ride against a new ride.

I woudl also move Pirata or install the new one In teh Boston area (Old Iron Sides).

Building new bathrooms either in Boston or near Boston will open up the area for new rides and attractions.

Outside of what I have already talked about. Rides to remove from their current locations. Vertigo Theater, Autobahn, Land Sea Rescue, Timber splash, Mini Scooters, Flower Power, and rowdy Roosters.

Autobahn and will be sold, Vertigo scraped.

Land Sea rescue, flower Power, and Mini Scooters will move to Kiddie land 2.

Timber Splash will Move next to Castaway Island and be modified to have a pool finish.

Rowdy Roosters Will be moved to the Old House spot between teh Ferris wheel and photo shop.

I would also move Banaza to the Balloon race location in Old Canobie village.

Bonanza would look awesome in the village.

It fits the theme more also. I just hope that Banaza isn't on it's way out with the addition of the paintball. I know I haven't played it in 2 years, ever since they upped the price.

I would stop heckling people about onride filming!

The issue with onride filming is not that they do not want your footage, it is that a camera is a loose item and when you drop it and it hits someone in the head and knocks them out, they go and sue canobie because thats what we do in america.

I'd love a topspin.. or the small topspin 2. I know Canobie would run it well and it would give the park a much needed looping flat.

Maybe a revamp of MOLS.. Redo it all to have a consistent story line... (sorry Egypt..) maybe make it a shooter?

I think the MoLS would be awesome if they took out those 2 egypt scenes and put in some more mine stuff... maybe some creepy caves? Also, the "off with your head's" guy doesn't really fit either... just a random creepy guy who likes steeling heads :/

Some people like it some people don't. Probably shouldv'e left out the finally but not everyone wants to ditch it (althought the majority probably does)

If a helmet is loose enough to just fall off than you're not wearing it correctly. It was just a suggestion.
They also sell straps which allow you to secure the camera to your chest - and it's on there good, my friend snowboards with one on there and sometimes his helmet and has never had one come off.

While I didn't think it made much sense but can see why they removed the round up and added zero gravity. It wouldn't make economical sense to switch it back.

There has been talk of a new Matterhorn. Though new company will have to be chosen since SDC it technically no longer around.

For the cost of extending the corkscrew they could buy a new one that is better designed.

I like the huss enterprise, too bad they are no longer manufactured.
