Alpine Swing Group: Members Posts: 59 Member No.: 799 Joined: 27-April 09	PBS has once again brought out their collection of fun quirky travelogue documentaries by Rick Seback, including 'A Hotdog Program' and 'Great Old Amusement Parks.' Although Canobie didn't make it, there are several other parks that did, including Whalom Park (must have been filmed in the late 90's) and the park that has Leap the Dips, the oldest roller coaster in the world. Check your local PBS stations to see when it's on.

I think there is a lot of history compared to the other parks in NE -------------------- canobie lake- cannonball untamed dragon corkscrew.............whats next? Site's Number 1 Poster Group: Members Posts: 10,018 Member No.: 90 Joined: 16-November 04	LC has the most history and the most challenges to stay open. I think Whalom was picked over Canobie because it was more of an old amusement park then canobie. it's age alone placed it higher on the list but it features far more classic elements then Canoboie which has expended but regrettably moved any of its classic elements.
